Jay Barker was a Heisman finalist and is one of Bama's all time greatest QB's. I put him up there with Namath, Stabler, and McCarron

While I like Barker, I wouldn't quite put him up there with those 3...but I think the previous poster mentioned Barker in the context of the 1993 Sugar Bowl (aka BCA National Championship game)...he went something like 4 for 13 for less than 20 yards and had 2 INTs, I think...and we still won (34-13) due to our defense and running game...but, at least for that game, we won in spite of Barker...he did vastly improve but I think he and Buck Belue probably had two of the worst bowl performances for national championship winning QBs...

And he still attracts more beautiful women than you would in 100 lifetimes.

I doubt it. There is no evidence to support that. Sure he probably has some average looking Alabama whore by his side just for being a player but he ain't getting top notch snatch with the way he looks I'm telling you

And he ll never take another snap again so it ain't like he's getting some hot girl just for being an NFL QB. However, you would probably suck his D

AJ nasty-chest-tattoo McCarron married Miss Alabama and a model. I can assure you Coker does well for himself. He may need a little proactiv, but otherswise looks like a pretty normal and nice dude to me.

Eh, big dude with a big arm, some NFL team will give him a free agency look. Could easily see him making a roster as a clip board holder. Even if he doesn't, at least he's not an Ole Miss fan so he knows what a national championship ring looks like.

Yeah, he's impressive!
whats your point? that wasnt his fault, he got hit while throwing and couldnt follow through. if the blocker stays on his man .5 seconds longer that's a touchdown, the ole miss db was torched

true

Jimbo has two NC QBs that he's developed

I'd mention this in recruiting if I were him

He's got my respect. Watched him all season and yes he could be considered a 'game manager' type. But, he refuses to give up and is very gritty.

As for the Clemson game, I can recall a couple that brushed fingertips when a slightly less forceful throw would have had the receiver in the exact right position for the catch.

This part. Most of his passes, when he wasn't just throwing it away, looked very catchable.
