The only people that seem to support him are the facebook reds that can literally only name like 3 current VOLS players.

I'm thankful that he's returned Tennessee back to relevance. There's no doubt that we're better off now than we were 4 years ago. I did like him but not anymore, I'm tired of all the cliches and coach speak and the excuses.

That's fair and I agree but 8-4 with this team is unacceptable in year 4.

At least you only have one more year of him Robert. No way does Tennessee not send this dude packing next year. This year's injuries are enough of an excuse to not win a morbidly terrible eastern division and honestly I don't see Butch winning more than 8 next year. Georgia and Florida will battle it for the division title. Of course I am fine with him coaching there until retirement.

There is unfortunately a small group of retards who refuses to acknowledge the blatantly obvious fact that Lyle is a subpar coach at this level of football. They resort to calling the rest of us "not VFLs" when we tell them the facts. They tend to be 40+ and do most of their talking on facebook.

His sister works at UT and Smith could very well start day 1 against Georgia Tech next season.
