With the SEC 'ship game this coming weekend, I, along with other Florida fans, have been force fed the narrative that the SEC West is a vastly superior machine to the East, like Kia is a vastly superior machine to BMW.

Stopped reading after this ridiculous statement

Watch tomorrow's game and then let us know what you think.

*Ole Miss took Bama down to the wire.
*LSU was tied with Bama in the 4th quarter
*Arkansas hung 30 points on this Bama defense
*Texas A&M led Bama in the 2nd half.
*Auburn actually trailed by just 4 points at the half

While Bama dominated all of the above teams, there were some decent efforts put up against them from the Western teams. Now the East is going to put up its best team to see what they can do against the Tide on a neutral field.

Something tells me it won't be close at halftime. We'll see.

You might think you've made an intelligent point - but I think Arkansas (5th in the west) beating your arse by 21 proved the West is superior.

That argument fell apart when Mizzou beat them.

Either way. Who gives a frick about divisional dick-riding?

I'm just glad the team I root for is actually pretty decent.

If the divisional champ got shanked by the 5th ranked team in the west, you can SAY the argument fell apart, but you would be terribly mistaken.

Reversing east and west?

IOW, the east is bad. We all know that, but that argument isn't a good indicator due to the 5th team in the west getting beat the worst team in the east.

There are other arguments you could use.

Why would I use a different argument than the fact that Florida, the East divisional champ, lost by 21 to the west fifth place team? I am not advocating for Arkansas. I am not saying Arkansas should be higher than 5th in the West. I am saying Florida, East Champ, SUCKS. What part of that don't you understand??

Ole Miss lost to Vanderbilt
LSU lost to Florida
Arkansas lost to Missouri
Auburn lost to Georgia

It's mostly just 6 teams riding Bama's coattails.

Ole Miss didn't win the west.
LSU didn't win the west.
Arkansas didn't win the west.
Tamu didn't win the west.

Florida, on the other hand, won the east and they are crap.

What don't you east guys understand about this?

They are crap, just like the rest of the teams in the SEC that aren't Alabama, which is why I said that Alabama is the difference.

So what? That same team lost to Missouri.

One game doesn't make an argument. Like I said, the east sucks this year. There are better arguments you could use.

Hell, Florida beat us by 38. You beat us by 28. Does that= Florida>Bama?

No

If the standard for measuring the quality of the east is a 3 loss team... and the standard for measuring the quality of the west is an undefeated team... It would seem clear to me that the East is terribly inferior to the west.

The divisions have 7 teams in them. I'm judging the divisions on all of their members' merits.

You keep trying to compare the losses of Arkansas with the losses of Florida. I don't give a rats arse about Arkansas and who they have lost too. I am saying that the fact that your champion got shelled by an inferior west team indicates that your division is CRAP.

It isn't hard
