What's more relevant? 10 years ago? 2 years ago? This year? You stupid, inbred count. We are better than you. You suck and we are having a great time fricking on you and there isn't a fricking thing you can do about it. You know how I know we are better than you rednecks? Because we fricking beat you, again...
Just kidding, but totally serious

Yeah sports isn't about being "better" it's about winning.
Being better is the best way to win, but it doesn't guarantee anything.
Up voted, There's a lot of wisdom in that statement.

To answer this question I have to answer this: If I had $1000 I had to bet on an outright winner in a neutral location, id put it on Alabama to win.

They had a good game plan, took advantage of unforced errors and some weird breaks, and played a great game and beat us. I think we're better then them then and now, but they have bragging rights. THE END.
In the era of a playoff, a regular season H2H game is decidedly less important then before though. When we get to the inevitable 8 team format, I'm afraid we start to get like NCAA basketball and we really devalue these games.

What if this game already happened this year and there was no reason for you to use some hypothetical bullshite?

Bama is living on recruiting rankings and a high preseason ranking. They almost lost to a crappy tennessee team (at home) yesterday, and haven't beaten anyone of merit yet

Here's what's relevant. We're 7th and you're 19th. Alabama is the reigning SEC champion's. Ole Miss is not. We're in the hunt for a national championship this year. Ole Miss is not.
Do you wanna keep going, dip shite?

How does it feel to know that it doesn't matter?

How does it feel to know we beat your arse this year, again?
I can literally sense your blood boiling, chill out it's not like you've ever actually been to Tuscaloosa

About 5% to 10% of the time the best team doesn't win the game. Luck plays it's part in every game and when it favors one team over another it gives that team an advantage - often the advantage is too much to overcome. It enables teams that are vastly overmatched a chance to win the game.
Alabama gave up 2 unforced turnovers and that was all it took to upset the natural balance luck played in that game. Ole Miss' good luck was too much for Alabama to overcome.
The answer to the OP question is no. Alabama was and remains the better team.

Ole Miss has 11 wins in 63 attempts against Alabama. It took all the money in Mississippi to buy the team Freeze put together and they will never win anything of importance. All the money just to make the all-time record against Bama ever so slightly less pathetic. Not even an invite to the dance.
Lots of that talent will cash their last checks from Ole Miss after this season then it's back to struggling for bowl eligibility. Enjoy these memories.

Are Florida and Memphis better than Ole Miss? Is Georgia Tech better than Florida State?
Posted on 10/25/15 at 10:52 pm to Bamainmontg
This year, yes....who knows there is still a possibility to play Florida again with a revamped OL, it could make a difference.

Lol Ole Miss has at least 2 more conference losses coming. Bama will meet UF in ATL.

Keep believing the same old sad mantra....it's not as though Ole Miss has recruited extremely well and is in line to bring an even higher rated class in this year or anything. It was a blip that could only happen via cheating....and only Ole Miss would do that

Good luck to both teams in the Chik-Fil-A Bowl.
