So what's the problem.

The biggest problem has been Coleman Thomas, he has regressed terribly. When he got benched against Tech, we started clicking on offense immediately.

So this past week, they moved him from center to right tackle , he gave up 2 sacks against Ohio (didn't even touch the guy).

Chance Hall was supposed to be the starter at RT, but he got injured in camp, we get him back this week, don't know if he'll start tho. We seemed to have somewhat fixed the interior, but the tackle spots are the weakness as of right now.

the burden of proof is on the accuser. Type in Josh Dobbs, look at preseason posts, report back

Wow. Any daylight at the end of the tunnel? Are you seeing improvement and why do they keep throwing Thomas out there?

Oh so you are taking what some trolls/homers said on this board and labeling it as "many"

So what's the problem. they are a veteran unit, are they not? Is it coaching? You guys have been recruiting well....I think the OL was a bit of a problem last year, too, but I would have thought it would be solid this year.

OL was ok last year in run block but only so-so in pass pro. It's basically the same unit as last year minus Kyler Kerbyson who graduated. But I think the problem was that we lost OT Chance Hall in camp - he had to have a knee scope - and that reshuffled the line. Chance is practicing this week and we're hoping we get him back for the UF game.

Our normal Center has played like trash this season and was replaced by our best OG (Weisman) who is doing well at the center spot right now. But Jashon Robertson OG is also playing poorly. Neither Jashon nor our normal Center (Coleman Thomas) have been bad players in the past but they have been this season. I mean these are players that are on every watchlist you can name for OL.

I think the key will be getting Hall back at OT. There's a chemistry issue I think and getting him back frees us up to fix it.

In the interest of fairness, I did just that. I saw one thread asking who the worst QBs in the SEC was and Josh Dobbs was named several times. I saw many threads making fun of the way he looks. I stopped.

Chance Hall will help, I think. He and Jack Jones came in against UGA and dominated last year, Jones should have started day 1.

On the interior, yes.

At this moment, we don't have any other options because Drew Richmond is too slow to play the LT spot and not a good enough run blocker to play RT. He also doesn't know the playbook apparently because he missed several assignments vs Tech. He'll get better, but I think the coaches put Thomas out there because of experience and he actually was a pretty good player last year.

It's always problems when you have to shuffle your OL. One problem gets fixed, but another leak gets discovered. It usually just starts throwing everything out of sync. You get linemen next to each other who are not used to working with each other. It can get ugly.

Maybe your problems can be fixed when your injured player gets back.

Which shows how UT fans and beat writers alike anointed him? Why are you struggling with this?

Exactly my point and one being a local publication when I already stated you are a fool for buying into homers.

I'm sorry you seem to have bought in to all of it.

Not hardly. I haven't watched a lot of Tennessee football games but....I don't think Dobbs has cost Tennessee to lose. i DO think Harris has caused LSU to lose.
