Is Josh Dobbs a fraud?

Through three games, I can't recall him doing much at all to help his team win. They have struggled in all three games, and he has struggled to keep his head above water.
Seems like the off-season hype messed with his head. He has made some terrible decisions, and looks scared the majority of the time.
What happened? I thought he was gonna tear it up?

He's the same guy he's always been. Fast, semi-elusive big strong runner and not a very good passer. His O-line is terrible, negating some of his run skills and making his passing even more skiddish.

So, 3 a game against terrible competition? He was supposed to be a world beater this year, according to many. Lamar Jackson had 8 td's in one half

Because of 5 turnovers which, your defense did nothing to produce. Don't go to far out on a limb. VT was ruining you until they took a shite and gave you the ball 5 times.

Seriously? So if everybody doesn't do that, they are no good?
JJ was supposed to win the Heisman last year. He had 16 passing/rushing TD all year.

He is the guy with good looking stats but when you watch him play, he looks average at best.

The only way Dobbs could be a fraud is if he said he could do something he cannot do.
He hasn't done that.
All in all he is an effective QB without the whole skill set some elite QB's have.
Last year we won 9 games and had leads in at least 3 of the 4 we lost. What exactly would he have to do to prove himself? He is a good QB and I am glad we have him.

Yeah....if Tennessee fans count as members of the media.
Seeing as you didn't arrive until August of this year, you missed most of the posts from delusional Vol fans proclaiming Josh Dobbs to be something tantamount to the second coming of Michael Vick.

Yes he did...but you are saying Dobbs is a fraud based on some hype you saw somewhere. (That I honestly didn't see) while Auburn people were running around saying: "15-0, going to the 'ship!" and "JJ is going to win the Heisman!" before he set foot on a SEC field in 2015. Y'all started the JJ hype train. Tennessee was vocal this past off season about this is their year...but relatively quiet about Dobbs.

Not shocking that the UT fans are the only ones who think he has looked good this year.
