Not really. It is entirely due to Saban. If Saban stays at Miami, Miles has 2 more Natties, and no one is talking about firing Miles.

fair enough, my bad. Either way I don't think Stallings was at Bama long enough to compare him to Miles. After this year Miles will be 12 years compared to Stallings 7. If we are talking about consistency, it is more impressive to maintain that 10 win average over a longer period of time.

It is impressive that his best QB was probably Jay Barker though or Freddie Kitchens. It should be noted Freddie was pretty damn good, though.

It is not as simple as you think
Maybe Auburn and Tennessee become better over that period

Or maybe they go to LSU.

The point is that LSU has been 2nd to Bama quite a bit since Saban has been at Bama.
