With the talent that LSU has on both sides of the ball, it is SEC championship or bust.

Beat Bama, win SEC, playoff berth in that order. Nothing less will suffice, it's our year.

It's forward pass or bust in 2016.

They could easily finish 11-1 and not win the West. I say no

10 wins or more and fans will be ok

Those are some really really high expectations buddy, you think the Tigers can go that far with Brandon Harris.

When you bring back 17 starters, a top recruiting class, and the Heisman front runner the expectations are going to be high.

It's not SEC title or bust, but I would say it's 11 wins or bust.

If those two losses are against the toughest opponents and LSU was competitive, he should be ok.

If there is another November shitshow of rolling over and playing dead for two and a half games, time for him to go.

Ole Miss and Auburn celebrate that feat because they actually beat Bama.

L5U rushes the field for beating Ole Miss.

says a Ole Piss fan - what would Ole Piss do if they made it to Atlanta ?

it's funny that with Ole Miss fans the sun rises over concerns about LSU while Lsu fans only have real concerns about the Gators and Bama

maybe it's because that unless the wheels are falling off the Tigers by the time we play Ole Piss we roll the shite out of those turds and it is a given

Our season is made by beating the Gators then beating Bama - Ole Miss can't make it to Atlanta so they live and die over beating Lsu

As for rushing the field - that was not Lsu fans

that was a drunk Lsu student section !!!!!!!

Saying that - after 5 years and the arse wimping Bama gave us in the NCG of 2011 - I would rush the field and make no apologies for saying so ! and I don't care if the score is 3 to 2 Tigers win

Geaux Tigers

it's not national championship or bust.

lsu needs to win the west, which would mean they'd likely win the SEC.

LSU needs to win the conference. this is not a year, though, where you can say the SEC champion will very likely win the national championship. clemson/fsu, oklahoma, oregon/southern cal, ohio state/michigan will all have very good teams. especially clemson and oklahoma. this is not a good year for it to be "your year."

The majority of the adult Fan Base wanted him gone after last season

This is BS. Totally incorrect. Most adults with more than 2 rocks in their head realize that 11 years of winning no less than 8 games is an outstanding coaching job especially in the SEC West. Anyone who wants Miles gone when he has never even come close to a losing season are just miserable "fans" who would be whining even if Miles were winning natties every other year, and DO NOT represent what MOST of us want.

I'm not going to get into a big thing here but there have been legit concerns about Miles' refusal to adapt to the modern game. Maybe what happened last November scared him straight, I certainly hope so, but let's not act like Miles is above reproach or those criticisms have been out in left field because that's just not the case

No. LSU will reload with more talent and be in the hunt late into the season every year

Is this what Les Miles will have to accomplish with LSU to silence his critics this year

No. Saban didn't have to accomplish it in 2011................

For me, LSU needs to win the west. There's simply too much talent and there's no young qb excuse or any of that bullshite. Anything less and I think it's time to move on.

Harris is not that good though. That is the problem and it can't and isn't going to be solved in the off season unless you change to a better qb.

I have that doubt as well, but that falls on the head coach.

It's not like many other teams have a great QB though, and since when in the SEC do you have a to have a great QB to win the conference? An Alabama fan should understand that better than anyone.

Losing to Bama and some other team and not making the SEC Championship will be it for him. I don't think he can survive losing to Bama again unless he somehow makes the SEC Championship despite the loss.

I agree with this guy.
