sooner or later they will be. When MSU is irrelevant,no one cared. But if they start winning, they will be banned.
Either than or everybody will start being like a soccer stadium.

Do they not make it louder? Is increased noise not intended to create an advantage?
Louder than what? Louder than the fans screaming without cowbells? I honestly don't know the answer to that because no one has ever been able to construct a reliable decibel level comparison test. There is much debate as to whether the sound level on the field is louder with or without the bells.

I doubt you're just ringing them though because you need something to do with your hands.
I ring a cowbell because a) it is a traditional way to show my support of MSU and I have come to associate the sound with good things happening for MSU; and b) If I ring a bell instead of yelling, my throat is not as sore the next day.
I do not ring a bell because I think the sound is so loud that it will somehow effect play on the field. I think the players can handle the racket.

Since Aggies are newcomers, we'll cut you a little slack. Noisemakers were prohibited from SEC stadiums in 1975, but it has always been extremely difficult to make MSU enforce the rule.
In 2010, MSU proposed an exception to the artificial noisemaker rule that allowed the use of "traditional noisemakers" so long as that use followed the rules set for sound controlled by the institution (bands and PA systems). The exception was voted in, and has been renewed every year even though MSU has been fined a couple of times under the rule.
There is no doubt the exception could be revoked any year. That's why the MSU AD sent out a special plea this week asking for better compliance.

Don't be patronizing you dumbass.
I was on the sideline for the 17-17 OM State tie if you can remember back that far.
The other schools have not needed a "tradition" of artificial noisemakers as they have fans willing to yell their arse off.
MSU is the only stadium in the SEC where visitors have to listen to that shite rung in their ears and it is annoying as hell.

I was in there when your fans started trickling out at halftime in 2012 when you had the stupid white shirt celebration. Snowbowl!

if state continues with their newfound success, national broadcasts are going to go to other teams because neutral observers don't want to hear that shite.
Please please link an article to this this is the most original load of bullshite in this thread.

That's the question... if state keeps winning and expanding, then it's almost inevitable.
and this exemption the sec has given them can be revoked, with enough support.
Your post wreaks of fear for this Dakturday.

4-4 for all time & 2-2 in our lifetimes.
The 17-17 Tie was in Ox ford; I, too, was there, but, not on the sideline. 1968, iIrc.

You still just don't get it. Its not about being louder....we have just enjoyed ringing them for decades.
I'll stop being patronizing if you stop saying ignorant shite.
