2 games...
Let me know when Ole Miss wins back-to-back trophies.

but seriously, you just won a game by 6 points in which you were +5 in the turnover margin...please by God play like that when we come to oxford.
You are missing the point. We forced 5 turnovers. You best hope to God we dont do that to you too.

The 3 INTs could have been fair caught for goodness sakes. They were thrown directly to you guys (as were the 2 drops).
The INTs were bc our secondary doesnt just play the receiver, they watch the ball and the QB as well. For a lot of defenses those are just bad incomplete passes. For Ole Miss, those are picks.

The special teams fumbles caused were absolute forces. Great tackles putting helmet or hand on the ball.
One of them was caused by your own player knocking the ball out with his back when they collided...

And this is true too.
My father-in-law is trying to convince me the tipped Swag Kelly pass that went for a TD off the Bama helmet was by design. I had to just sit there and agree because he's my father-in-law.

I think Ole Miss is very good, but Bama fricked up with their gameplan and really gave away easy turnovers.
They really should have run the ball more.

As bizarre as it sounds, is Hugh Freeze the "new" Nick Saban of the SEC?
The West is down.

The question can't really be answered until we find out if Freeze can win the big trophies, but thus far I'd argue that he has out-performed Saban (and Miles, for that matter) at comparative points in their coaching careers. To understand that, you have to understand how bad of a dumpster fire Freeze inherited. We had just gone 2-10, winless in the SEC, hardly any SEC-calibre talent, and almost half of our roster was on academic probation. Morale and discipline was shot.
It was Freeze's first head-coaching gig at a "major" program, only two years removed from Lambuth College. After only three full seasons at Ole Miss, his accomplishments border on miraculous. Compare that to Saban's first three years at MSU, or Miles' at OSU. Yeah, Saban won an SEC title in his second year at LSU and a natty in his 4th year at LSU; Freeze has done neither, yet, but he gives pretty good bang for the buck.

Yeah, his biggest wins are the product of a lot of luck. Kind of like the mulligan Saban received against LSU in 2011 and Colt McCoy's injury in the 2009 BCS championship game

Freeze is the coach of arguably the best team in the country and the likely front-runner to win the SEC.
GTF outta here with that BS.
Ole Miss is not even close to that level.

Saban is the new Spurrier.

Hold your horses
Freeze has not even made it to a 10 game winning season in the SEC so this topic dumb.

Saban @ LSU:
2000 - 8-4
2001 - 10-3, SEC Western Division Champion, SEC Champion
2002 - 8-5
2003 - 13-1, SEC Western Division Champion, SEC Champion, Sugar Bowl BCS Bowl Champion, BCS National Champion
2004 - 9-4
Thusfar, Hugh Freeze has not won his Division, has not gone to Atlanta, and finished last year with 9 wins. They imploded down the stretch. Freeze is not close to Saban. He's not even close to Miles at this juncture as an SEC Head Coach after the first few years of his tenure when compared to Les' first few years.
Good coach, but if he can't develop a consistent, credible running game, I don't see them being a consistent, credible threat to win the Division.

When's the last time Saban lost a game 42-3?
Posted on 9/21/15 at 12:02 pm to DeltaDoc
Freeze hasn't won any trophies yet.

Forced? I know I saw at least two that occurred with a Black Bear paw/hand/helmet near the Alabama player.
