Regardless of how talented you perceive AU's roster to be, it has taken a truck load of coaching ability to have a team this short competing. They're outsized in every game they play. The roster shuffling alone speaks volumes for Pearl's knowledge of the game.

Second smallest in a power 5 conference. This guy thinks that Trayvon Reed should come in halfway through the year and be capable of contributing just because he has 4 stars by his name and that if he doesn't, then it's contributed to Pearl not being able to "coach him up."

Auburn is never goign to be consistently good at basketball, given the fact neither Georiga or Georgia Tech are consistently good. There has to be good Georgia high school talent for Auburn to be good. There are a lot more competitive basketballs programs than football programs, so Auburn isn't going to stand out in bball like football. There is nothing to lure kids there.

Harrell, Reed, Bowers

Price isnt there. Either way, we dont have ANY 4* and have been injury plagued all year and even had to beg footballs players to play.

You have way more talent on your team. We just have a coach, who can....coach.

Nice try. One of those hasn't been on our team the last two years. Like I said, you may need to educate yourself.

Funny. I'm actually a big Auburn fan when their outcome doesnt impact UGA.

I just think the cult following on here for Auburn fans is comical and too easy

You're right. I would expect a 7-1 top 60-70 player to come in and contribute right away.

Proves my point. You haven't watched him play.

Your point was that he wasn't coached up?

He isn't physically ready. Like I said, if you had watched him play or had any idea of what you're talking about then you'd already know this.

BTW, that was never my point. I can't read it for you too.

Ah...gotcha. Can't imagine a top 60-70 player coming in and contributing early.

So, you are again stating that UGA has more raw talent than Auburn....or we past that now and you agree about Fox's coaching ability?

Haha. Fox has a worse roster of talent. I think we have a couple 2* and that's it.

I'm also saying that Pearl has the same shite players, but didn't coach them up, but he's got a helluva recruiting class coming in for sEc standards (UK excluded)

If you are comparing UGA who has had Fox for a few years compared to AU who is in Pearl year 1 you are a moron.

Talent wise, you have a team full of Fox's players , who have had time to develop and have depth built up.

The difference AU has is that our tallest player ready to play is Bowers or Granger who are both 6'7 if lucky. Reed is 7+ but was considered raw before showing up midseason no practice

Fox is a solid coach. I think he is a good hire and will build a consistently well coached and solid team. Just don't pretend that Bruce Pearl hasn't don't a phenomenal job with a shift AU team

Not until he somehow learns to recruit
