That sounds about right. That being said, McCarron has a far better chance of succeeding as an NFL QB than Manziel does.

That is indisputable, but Manziel might get more playing time faster than AJ.

I don't think AJ walks right into a starting role. He will have the luxury of carrying that clipboard a year or two.

Manziel due to the hype will be forced to play immediately, and I think it will end badly.

I know our offensive line and WRs were both better than yours, yes, those things helped Manziel set almost every record imaginable.

Finally, an A&M fan admits Manziel is overrated and a system QB.

I hope I got this asinine thought process thing down.

I think Johnny Manziel is a Russell Wilson clone. I think AJ McCarron is a mixture of Graham Harrell and Matt Leinart. So... AJ really has his work cut out for him not to be a career backup.

The cloning quality assurance agent needs to be replaced. Somebody slipped some extra "douchebag" DNA into the process.

Start a thread "Was Alabama's Offensive Line Last Year the Best Ever?" Boog and other responses "Hell no, when you have a QB like McCarron it makes your offensive line look good not to mention backs like Lacy and Yeldon"

True, because he should stay relatively injury free unlike Johnny Football who will be thrown to the wolves as a mobile QB.

You are sayin people talked about Jefferson for Heismann that year. fact my arse!! A lot of people didn't want him to come back from the trouble he got in. jefferson has been despised for most his career. And LSU would be talked about as one of the great college teams of all time with the schedule they played and beating all comers. If not for the idiot HC who refused to spread you people out and let Jefferson pass or run the damn ball. A blind man could see that. He played right into y'all hands by continually tryin to run the ball, idiot.

I remember the "Greatest and Most Accomplished Team of All Time", but I don't remember anyone touting JJ for the Heisman.

I wasn't on 24/7, so I can't say it didn't happen.

yeah, that kind of idiotic talk only inspired y'all to win the game more along with Miles awful playcallin and team not being prepared at all. It's the reason they finally have a OC. Last season was unbearable.
