He certainly was one of the weaker staff members, but I think that's a little strong. There have to be several stronger prospects out there than Haley. He's a mediocre DL coach.

The Ag delusion continues.

Were you not around when he got DEMOTED to an admin role on the staff for sucking so bad? Yeah we were all wishing that didn't happen.

We had an epically weak line in 2013 and 2014 under him. We didn't even break 20 sacks in 2014 (by comparison we had 34 sacks in 1 LESS game this year after losing a 3rd round DE). He was lazy recruiting, just like Chavis, and it led us to the shite show we had depth wise on the DL and LB thanks to Brick and Chavis. Once again, thank god they are both gone and we have competent coaches AND recruiters in here now.

Well sure. Sumlin's A&M career up until last season was based on flashiness and recruiting (and not coaching). Taking Brick from Texas in a major symbolic move is a way to get the mojo back.

With Bama being so much better than anyone in college football or the SEC we try to make the best out of it.

I disagree. I've known Brick since his playing day at Emma Samson. He's a good man and a good coach

Probably nobody but Sumlin, Chavis, & Haley know.

All the rest is throwing shite against a wall.

I've known him and Chavis since they were both at Alabama A&M under Ray Greene.

Lotta people forgot Chavis got his feet wet in the SIAC/SWAC.
