Lawd, desperate times, call for desperate measures:

For those that dont know, this is the guy that helped run LSU's typically elite DL into the ground through poor recruiting and player development. LSU demoted him to an admin role before hiring Ed Orgeron and Texas in desperation for a DL coach ended up hiring him after they struck out with about 10 other candidates.

I hope they do. He is horrible. He would single handedly negate the Chavis factor

Its a Chavis hire, supposedly Sumlin told him to go get who he wants. If Chief wants Haley who am I to disagree?

Oh please let this happen, that was quite the craptacular combo their last few years here. No pass rush in 2014, a defense that had big breakdowns in 2013.
Thank God we've got Aranda and Coach O now.

They wanted him last year, but they couldn't get him away from his internship position at LSU.

Wait a minute, I thought LSU liked Brick and his recruiting? When Chief bolted some LSU folks on here swore he wouldn't go anywhere.

I don't think you've ever been more wrong about something in your life. The meme on the TD Recruiting board is that if LSU finished second in recruiting, Brick was the primary.

For the latest and up to date news on everything Texas A&M, ask an LSU fan.
If this happens, its probably just a recruiting move and a big FU to Texas as a sign of state control. One thing is stealing a rival school coach (Hi LSU), but another is stealing a coach from your in-state rival who recruits every player you target. Terry Price and Mark Hagen were both D-Line coaches, but only Price coached the line. Hagan's title was a formality and he focused on recruiting more than coaching. Now that Hagen is gone Coach Sumlin has said he will replace the 'Defensive Tackle Coach' position (aka a recruiter), so if he does hire Brick, it won't be because of his coaching ability, that's for sure.

Ok you claim a lot of things but this is one I'm legitamitely gonna need to see some proof. Brick has been shite on by LSU fans for a while now.

Nope, I remember some LSU fans wanting to keep Brick after Chavis left.
Don't make me go digging up posts of bipolar LSU fans.

Also, Brick is a great talent developer and recruiter, and I hope that TAMU pays him what he deserves and he coaches there for many many MANY years.

Chief must have not been able to pawn his recruiting off onto any of the current A&M staffers.
