You took that as LSU fans thinking Brick is a good coach and they wanted him to stay? All I see is a couple guys who felt bad about the demotion. Tigamike even said he wouldn't coach the DL anymore.
You're gonna need something with a little more substance.

If you guys could ever keep a recruiting class or coaching staff together or keep guys on campus once they get there, people probably wouldn't post so much about you. Dumpster fires attract a lot of attention.
Your own posters accusing your head coach of having a coke problem and getting local police to cover up his DUI attracts a lot of attention. Having 10 stars worth of quarterbacks leaving your program in one offseason (and 14 in two) draws a lot of attention. Trying to recreate the 2014 LSU defense draws a bit of attention as well.

1. Yes, Chavis wants to hire Brick.
2. Yes, most LSU fans on this site were fans of Brick up until the day he was not retained by Steele.
3. Yes, Chavis wanted Brick last year, but the LSU admin were being pissy and the contract issues made it impossible.
4. Only the rantards on this site could make A&M taking the DL coach out of Austin in a lateral move and pretend as though that's not a sign of strength.

Regarding Haley's recruiting issues at LSU in previous years - he doesn't seem to have hurt Texas recruiting this season. I don't know that he was a net positive, but Texas brought in a pretty good group of DT's in spite of him.

TAMU had to wait for LSU to waive his buyout for Texas before making a move. They were tired of LSU's attorneys raping them in open court.

Have fun with Brick, our DL continually got worse under him and his recruiting left a ton to be desired, just like Chavis. Soon enough you wont have any recruiters on defense and will be depleted at DL and LB just like we were after those 2.
