Agreed, but that is not the same thing as a student athletic fee
Agree. Maybe just a play on accounting terms but it does mislead IMO.

bama's endowment probabaly should be bigger considering you probably have twice as many students system wide. it still hardly proves you are the school of the elite, especially considering auburn students have higher gpa's and act/scores

"Auburn trails most significantly in the sale of commemorative dinnerware, an area where Alabama excels."

I never paid a student athletic fee unless they are talking about ticket cost.
Does Alabama give students a physical ticket? Could explain why Auburns gets counted as fee since we get access to the games but no set ticket. May count that as a fee

Each University of Alabama system school has its own separate endowment. Auburn accepts 70% of applicants lol Bama has produced 15 rhodes scholars to Auburns 4. Both schools are so similar in terms of academic prestige (or lack thereof) that its not really worth arguing about.
It is well known that the farming/ag focused families in Alabama tend to send their kids to Auburn. BAMA is known for med, law and business studies.

Commemorative dinnerware means one has to have something to commemorate. Clearly one reason Auburn trails in that category. On the other hand, retainer fees by Auburn leads Bama by a five to one clip. Maybe a commerorative plate honoring that would make you feel better. No?

Bama students do not get a physical ticket. They scan their student ID when entering.

Asked someone still in school and he said only fee he pays is for tickets. There is a student activity fee but that paid for the new rec center and intramural sports kind of stuff and controlled by students government

Did you know that only Purdue University has put more people into space than Auburn? The more you know......

this.
both are good schools in their own respects.
Regarding donations discrepancy...
- Bama has pretty much updated every facility over the past 10 years. Not much reason to hit our alums up. (They have taken pledges for the baseball stadium, not collected yet.)
- Mal Moore was pretty successful at getting $. the athletic admin probably took a step back from fundraising to focus on the transition post Mal Moore.
oh and frick Auburn.

Another Auburn fan bragging about being ranked #2.... Reminds me of the 2013 season.

the bammer law school accounts for 500 students on a campus of over 30 thousand, and the medical school is located on uab's campus.
i also recently saw some information on twitter that Stanford sends recruits comparing the average salary of their graduates to other schools with top football programs. auburn graduates make more money than bammer graduates even according to information sent out by stanford

Probably because a lot of people go to Alabama and study something useless on family money. Auburn has the useless shite, too, but not as much as Alabama.
You really get riled up about this stuff, Tammy.

Whats your point? Our law school is ranked #23 in the nation by US News. Only Vanderbilt has a better law school in the SEC.
Auburn's engineering program ranks pretty low considering their students and alumni claim it to be their bread and butter.
It is also well known that Tech related majors make more than liberal arts majors. Auburn is a tech school Bama is a liberal arts school. It makes complete sense. I make more than the Auburn grads that are my age at my work--I know this because I pay them.
