You have to put Manziel above Newton and Tebow.

They both have something that JFF doesn't have. Agreed his #'s are amazing in that season but over their CFB careers, Tebow beats both of them IMO. In terms of careers, Tebow should probably be 1 or 2.

Both Colt McCoy and Sam Bradford had better statistical seasons in 2008 than Tebow did. Bradford was even hurt during the Texas game.

Comparing Big 12 stats to SEC stats is apples and oranges.

No fricking way he should even come close to being Top 10

Well, there have only been 11 SEC winners, (13 if you count Rogers and Crow) so he'd have to come close.

To have Ingram in the top 10 is a joke. And Billy Cannon left out is also a joke

ETA: In fact, Cannon should be somewhere around 1

He went 9-4 in the season he won the Heisman. Manziel went 11-2.

Touché.

Although from an unbiased perspective, I'd rather have Tebow than Manziel as my QB.

He in no way deserved the heisman that year anyway. On any list of winners he really should be at the very bottom.

I still have no clue how Cannon isnt on that list. He was a once in a generation type athlete like Bo. He was the biggest and fastest guy on the field

Bo's Heisman season was more impressive than Herschel's - so i am OK with him being ranked higher on this list.

But Herschel's body of work over 3 seasons was more impressive than bo's.

Let the Aubbies start flaming now...

i've heard Big George Rogers tell the story a few times about how when he arrived w/ the Saints as the #1 overall pick, he was ill-prepared to handle his situation. his dad was in jail for murder for most of his life, so he didn't have someone to look up to. but when he got to New Orleans, a veteran player took him aside to counselled him on what he needed to do to keep his life in order. he still got into a little trouble here and there, but he said he would have never made if it wasn't for that veteran player's guidance.... and that veteran Saint player was none other than Archie Manning... now you know the rest of the story.

Wuerffel to me was the best college quarterback in Florida history. He should be above not Tebow and Spurrier.

While I am definitely partial to Herschel, it is hard to argue with Bo. they are BOTH great picks.

Tebow should be thanking Harvin. Harvin was that offenses x factor IMHO

Cannon only had 598 yards rushing with 5 TDs his winning year. Its not surprising he is ranked so low when compared to modern players.
