RB: Advantage Auburn 2010. Dyer + McCaleb > Michael, Williams, and Malena

WR: Advantage A&M 2012

TE: Advantage Auburn 2010. Lutzenkirchen > any tight end A&M has had since Martellus Bennett

OL: Push

DL: HUGE Advantage Auburn 2010. Dee Ford was THIRD STRING on that line. A&M was basically 1 deep and lucky there were no major injuries

LB: Advantage Auburn 2010. As you saw in 2013, the backups to Sean Porter and Jonathan Stewart wouldn't crack the practice squad on most SEC teams, let alone START.

CB: Advantage Auburn 2010.

S: Advanage Auburn 2010.

K: HUGE Advantage Auburn 2010. Have you forgotten about Taylor Bertolet?

Hmm.....

Herschel winning the Heisman in 82 was a career award. He easily could have won it 2 out of the 3 years he had played (I'd have a hard time arguing against Marcus Allen in 81). If he hadn't been lied to by an agent into signing with the USFL, he would have college career rushing and TD records that would never be broken.

Also it was dooley's only play. Handoff to 34.
Everyone knew it. Every defense "stacked the box".
Hand off to 34 anyway.

Same with Bo and AU in 1985. Pat Washington was our Qb and terrible.

Bo was the ONLY AU player drafted for AU in 1985.

It was the worst record for an AU team under Dye in a 10 year period from 1982-1991. Hell, Dye fired his offensive co-ordinator when the season ended.

Bo was much more impressive than Walker in their respective heisman years. Did more on a much worse team. UGA was playing for the natty in 1982. AU had the worst team in a 10 year stretch under Dye even with Bo destroying 8 in the box.

yes. That was Dooley's game plan.

BUT, to be fair, that one pass that Buck completed against Notre Dame was a big one for us...

AUs qbs in 1985 (3 of them) completed 45% of their passes for 1000 yards, 4 tds, and 12 ints.

AU was a complete joke in 1985 outside of Bo. 12 ints to 4 tds? Teams had 1 plan against AU in 85. All 11 defensive players focus on Bo every damn play.

And Bo still ran for what he did.

Bo should have won going away, but it was much closer because voters saw him quit on his team a few times that year.

He never quit retard Gump. He was injured against florida and Dye took him out. Deep thigh bruise in the second quarter. We actually led in the 4th quarter before losing by 4. Bo did not play the entire second half due to the injury.

Hell, he ran all over bama with 2 broken ribs that Dye didn't disclose until after the game.

You're a bit of an idiot. You want to see a player quit, fire up a tape of Ingram against AU in the 2009 IB when it mattered most

You're too easy sometimes. It was a very close vote, though. Chucky Long.

Worst shitty, half-assed "blog"-ish, CFB news sites:

1. SDS

2. Athlon

3. Bleacher Report

SDS had been sitting behind BR, but made a big time power move with this horrible, terribly half-assed list with no thought put in at all. Congrats on the big victory, guys.

i've heard Big George Rogers tell the story a few times about how when he arrived w/ the Saints as the #1 overall pick, he was ill-prepared to handle his situation. his dad was in jail for murder for most of his life, so he didn't have someone to look up to. but when he got to New Orleans, a veteran player took him aside to counselled him on what he needed to do to keep his life in order. he still got into a little trouble here and there, but he said he would have never made if it wasn't for that veteran player's guidance.... and that veteran Saint player was none other than Archie Manning... now you know the rest of the story.

I've heard him tell that same story several times.

He won the NFL rushing title as a rookie, was a Pro Bowler and Rookie of the Year.

No telling how good both Archie and Boo could have been had they been drafted by a good team.
