You couldn't even read a couple more posts before making such an asinine comment?

I'd change the 2012 Bama/AU game score from 49-0 to 70-0

I know it's not what the OP asked, but I put together a list of 10 outcomes changed a couple months ago when I was really bored, and that if they all happened it would satisfy me.
2005 GT
2005 LSU
2006 UGA
2000 SECG
1997 SECG
1972 LSU
1983 Texas
1988 LSU
2007 LSU
2004 USC vs. UCLA

ETA: You may notice a pattern. Damn you LSU.

Hell I want the ATM game from this year. We win that then JFF does not win the heisman/we go undefeated / I don't have to deal insufferable AtM fans that argue they should have been playing Notre Dame.

Check, check, and whut? There are plenty of insufferable A&M fans including myself but I've never seen this said by one of them outside of "if we had only beaten LSU". Which is admittedly dumb, but I don't know that I've seen anybody say, given the season's results, that A&M should have played for the title.

There have been a lot of heartbreaking A&M games in my life but none worse than the 1975 game against Arkansas. Aggies were undefeated and ranked #2 going into the last regular season game my freshman year. And the Hogs (with 2 losses) killed us. Ruined the team's psyche and they then fell to the Liberty Bowl and got blown out by USC.

My ATM "associates" argued that ATM was playin the best football at that time / they would have beaten Florida had they played La Tech the week before.

Now AtM had a great win. I was there.

But what they fail to remember is we were two yards away from winning / dominated the game outside of the first quarter.

But I will admit that JFF won the game for ATM. Throws to Swope and His last TD throw were all money.

No surprise there.

As much as I hate to admit it . . . Auburn and Cam crushed me. A close second is South Alabama beating us in basketball.

This is the answer I would expect from most bama fans.

Guess there just are not that many on this board that were around or rememember it that well.

No IB ever has or ever will get even 10% of the hype that game got. It would have been humiliating and soul crushing for AU to have lost it.

I remember I was petrified and never in my life have I wanted any team to win any game more than that one.

'65('64 season)Orange Bowl. Namath was standing in the endzone for the TD to end the game, refs fricks up the call and Bama loses to Texas.

Bama still got the NC as that was an exhibition game in it's time, but it's a game that Bama should have been called the winners.

......and I guess it would a lot less conversation over it being a legit NC or not
