Apparently not last year. Alabama's SOS was EMBARRASING compared to OSU's. Add that to the fact that Oklahoma State won their CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP, and their only loss was on the road in OT.

Don't forgot the mental anguish and heavy hearts the OSU players were playing with that day. They just didn't realize they were hurting until they were up 17 in the 2nd half.

I know, I know Metry, right? I know it's not fair. I wish I could tell you the world was.

Twice. One calendar year. LSU's (one of SEC's) best team in their history playing to become legends: embarrassed in their backyard and already forgotten by the national media. Chance at redemption at actual home, at night: so close, I thought you guys had it! Possible (probable?) 4 count swing in BCS titles for LSU vs Bama.

Arrrgh I can only imagine. Do you take anything to sleep at night?

Oklahoma at Texas A&M 2000.

Leading 31-21 midway through the fourth quarter on a 27-yard touchdown run by Ja'Mar Toombs in which he carried five defenders the last 10 yards, A&M proceeded to give up two straight touchdowns, including a 35-yard interception return in which Oklahoma committed two blatant illegal blocks in the back in front of the official with no calls.

Even with all that, they still reached the Oklahoma 8 yard line trailing 35-31 with first and goal and 2 minutes left. Not only did R.C. Chokum call 4 straight pass plays, but Toombs wasn't even in the formation on any of the four plays.

Win that game, and all of the "Big Game Bob" nonsense stops, Mike Leach never takes the Texas Tech job, and several other bad things don't happen.

This. Every time I see that Toooooooooooooooooooombs highlight, it sickens me that we lost that game. Still stings

As for which outcome I'd change, I'd still go with A&M/texas last Thanksgiving. Even with all the good that came out of the Ags losing that game (new coaching staff, new attitude, SEC success in year 1, etc.), right there, right then, that particular night was one of the most painful for me as a sports fan.

A&M was favored and started out fast, but played poorly down the stretch. Even with all that, we took the lead 25-24 late in the 4th. The ensuing t.u. drive, the horns get away with blatant holding and are aided greatly by a bullshite personal foul call that put them in position for the game winning field goal. At Kyle Field.

Still turns my stomach

Well, the LSU fans are correct that bama did not belong in that game in the first place. Regardless of who won.

Cotton Bowl 1992 where A&M lost 10-2 to FSU.

That game started our string of losing bowl games and underachieving. A win in that game would have been the catalyst for a lot of things. Granted Wally Groff would still have screwed it up because he was a horrendously incompetent AD, but still.

1995 A&M-Colorado, this game killed all of the momentum we had as a program from the early 90s. They stacked 8 and 9 in the box and shut down McElroy. A win here and we would have entered the Big 12 as a dominating program ranked in the top 10 and recruiting would have stayed good.

1911 Carlisle Indian School vs Syracuse...if CIS hadn't lost to Syracuse 12-11, they would have gone undefeated and untied, and Jim Thorpe would have had a National Championship...instead the MNC went to Princeton 8-0-2.

That overtime rules existed for the LSU - South Carolina game in 1995.

Are you aware that twice over a 10 month period LSU had the opportunity to knock Alabama out of NC contention and either win it outright or put themselves in a great position to win it? No Alabama is going for glory- they are in the midst of a run that will undoubtedly be talked about the rest of our lives. LSU's 2011 season that almost was the best of our lifetimes? Already forgotten. That must be sooooo frustrating.

First and foremost, I don't let , A GAME PLAYED BY KIDS, determine my self worth. I want LSU to win , but I'm intelligent enough to know that , win or lose, it doesn't affect my life at all. I realize, you let Bama's success define you as a person. Also , have fun cheering for 15 more days because after football season, GUNTS like you, go into hiding. It's mist be frustrating having one of the shittiest athletic depts in the SEC. So to answer your question; no it's not frustrating watching Bama beat LSU. Maybe of Bama's football team wasn't so successful , you'd realize your trailer is small, your sister/wife is pregnant again, and that your life is basically shite. BUT HEY , the TAHD is going for 3/4, so you're a king , right? Get a clue about life boy.

ETA: it's funny seeing you GUNTS talk about how shitty LSU is and yet we are your only hard game. Beating LSU is Bama's only significant win. Period. Just like in 2011. Your only hard game , at home , and you lost. Funny you think I'm frustrated by LSU's loss yet I don't recall LSU fans crying after the game like so many GUNTS

Exactly. Bama beat 3 teams with a winning record last year. Osu beat 5 ranked teams.

In what reality ,would I let a bunch of sister fricking rednecks from the toilet bowl of America ,get to me. I just replied to the GUMP thy said he wouldn't change anything about his life. Which is ignorant. As if a football program's success defines him as a person. I know there is nothing to do in Alabama besides incest and cow tipping but come on. Get some perspective.

Not every school can be the Boise st of the SEC like Bama and play 2 of the top 6 teams in the SEC.

Id change the Nov 5 game 2011 vs Bama. I wonder if we would have gotten a rematch.

What's gold is you thinking Bama has 14 national titles. That's gold. Also thinking you are great because players not even from Alabama win a game. That's gold. Read a book and stop thinking ,Bama winning, doesn't mean you're a loser.

2001 Auburn. Win that one, would have had a tie with LSU to end season, would have gone to Atlanta virtue of the tie-breaker, and probably would have beaten Tennessee, then Illinois in Sugar bowl. Oh well.
