Auburn LSU 2005. If Auburn had won that game we would have been in the SEC championship again and had already beaten UGA once.

UF/UG 2012, where UF doesn't fumble 6 times...then we're playing notre dame for the title.

You assume that we would've beaten Bama...

Sabans first year at Bama, the 2007 LSU game. Alabama left everything on the field in that game and if Bama pulls it out I am convinced they go to Atlanta (They had only 1 SEC loss at that point). After the loss to LSU, the team basically mailed in the rest of the season.

Also, 1994 SEC title game. Alabama was two points away from an SEC title, 12-0, and a Sugar Bowl bid. Lost to Florida 24-23 and ended up in the god damn Citrus Bowl.

Make chip shot field goal kicks against LSU or Florida this year and A&M is playing in the Natty.

If you're gonna choose a game we would've gone to the SEC championship, Arkansas 2006 would be my choice. We win that and we play Florida, who we had beaten that year, to see who plays for the national title.

Besides the 1/9/12 score, I would have put the more deserving opponent in.

HM: 11/3/12 vs CharminDetergent

11/1/69 LSU vs Ole Miss. If Mac kicks the tying FG, we may have played Texas for the NC.

Yall were getting us after DJ Shockley had missed about 2.5 weeks due to injury. The way we played in that SECCG, especially against a team as good as lsu (please spare me the we were tired story) I don't think anyone in the SEC would've beat us that day.

Rickdaddy,

Are you aware that twice over a 10 month period LSU had the opportunity to knock Alabama out of NC contention and either win it outright or put themselves in a great position to win it? No Alabama is going for glory- they are in the midst of a run that will undoubtedly be talked about the rest of our lives. LSU's 2011 season that almost was the best of our lifetimes? Already forgotten.

That must be sooooo frustrating.

Oklahoma at Texas A&M 2000.

Leading 31-21 midway through the fourth quarter on a 27-yard touchdown run by Ja'Mar Toombs in which he carried five defenders the last 10 yards, A&M proceeded to give up two straight touchdowns, including a 35-yard interception return in which Oklahoma committed two blatant illegal blocks in the back in front of the official with no calls.

Even with all that, they still reached the Oklahoma 8 yard line trailing 35-31 with first and goal and 2 minutes left. Not only did R.C. Chokum call 4 straight pass plays, but Toombs wasn't even in the formation on any of the four plays.

Win that game, and all of the "Big Game Bob" nonsense stops, Mike Leach never takes the Texas Tech job, and several other bad things don't happen.

No. What is frustrating is that your coach gets to go on national TV during the SECCG and lobby for his team to get a mulligan and a redo.
Why was GUNDY not ALSO invited to lobby for OSU?

Then, mysteriously, a faction of BCS Human Poll Voters and Coaches vote Oklahoma State FIFTH OR SIXTH. Everyone else had them 2nd or 3rd.
Oh I fug-GOT Little Nicky voted them FOURTH behind Stanford - guess he felt a little guilty.

Supposedly, SOS is a part of the BCS equation.
Apparently not last year. Alabama's SOS was EMBARRASING compared to OSU's. Add that to the fact that Oklahoma State won their CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP, and their only loss was on the road in OT.
Alashama came in second in their DIVISION, and lost at HOME.
What REALLY frustrates me, since you assume what is frustrating - is WHY THE HELL DID WE EVEN PLAY AN SEC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME LAST YEAR ????????????????????????????????????????????

IT APPARENTLY DIDN'T COUNT FOR shite !!!!!

Also, Teabagger, LSU outscored 12 opponents 500-123 in the regular season. That IS one of the, if not THE MOST dominating regular seasons EVER.
And it won't be forgotten.

But Alashama's lobbying, crying, whining, and bedroom olympics with Slive and Emmert WILL BE.

Please go straight to the bowels of Hades and enter the 13th sphincter of the Devil's rectum, and bring your spittoon and banjo with you FOREVER......

Why couldn't Alabama have been where Atlantis was ?????

Actually, uh...no. It is fact. How is that 'embarrasing' ? Facts are embarrassing?

Your team's schedule and mulligan last year was 'embarrassing.' And yet you things call that memorable or a dynasty.

Now THAT'S embarrassing.....
