Let me know when I continuously talk shite about preseason rankings and then disappear when the team I spent all offseason talking shite about beats the shite out of my team. Kind of like you did last year.

You can also let me know when I start a thread basically begging posters on this board to show some respect for my team and then I get angry when the respect doesn't come. The op has done this multiple times over the last 2 years

I've been around this board for a long time.

I've seen LSU fans ask this question over and over for years, and then just get all bent out of shape when people don't say they'll win the championship.

IMO,

With good QB play, LSU will have a good offense. The pieces are there at the rest of the skill positions and OL for them to be a force with a good QB.

The secondary is strong too.

I don't think they have a strong enough front 7 to get to the CFB play off, even with a decent QB.

With a great QB, they could win the whole thing, but a lot of teams can say that.

I hate to burst your bubble but I don't see how auburn fans think their gonna have an improved defence with the same guys that gave up 30 and 40 points in a shite load of games last year. Yall may have Jeremy Johnson but defence wins championships and unless muschamp can work some magic yall are not making it to Atlanta either... sorry

9-3 or 10-2 is the most reasonable prediction. Defense will likely not be as good as the only place to go is down but the jury is still out. We could be better on defense and be 11-1 with average QB play. A lot of questions this year.

16 starters return. Excellent OLine, RBs, and WRs. Secondary will be the best in the country and DLine has talent and depth. IF the QB can throw for 2500 yds and 17-18 TDs and limit TO's, how do you see this LSU team doing? If you say that they will go 6-6 because they have Les Miles as coach, it would be the first time. He has never won fewer than 8 games and has only done that twice. Interested in the responses to this. Go.

Looks like all of the pieces are there to have a great year. If Les can keep his hands out of Cam's cookie jar and let the man do his job unhindered I think the team will be in the mix for a trip to ATL.

It's kinda hard to frick up real bad with that kind of talent. But I get the feeling that the fanbase won't take kindly to Les brining in another 8 win season - - - LSU really needs to produce this year.

You must be confusing me with someone else. Or, projecting your own insecurities onto me.

I KNOW that the SEC Rant lives to crap on LSU every chance they get. I don't expect anyone here to say anything good about LSU. I certainly don't expect anyone here to make me feel better.

I have been posting here for almost a decade. I know the score.

If you think me disagreeing with the assessment that other SEC fans have is getting mad, then you must be angry all the time. Seriously, calm down.

No one is bent out of shape one way or the other. I am just curious as to what other SEC fans think. Some are giving serious answers and some are losing their minds that an LSU fan might actually think that if a few pieces fall into place LSU can have a good year. Why is that so shocking?

It is the preseason. Hopefully we all think that our team has the potential to do well.

What kind of response would you receive from your brothers on TigerRant if you asked the same questions?

9-3 maybe 10-2 if QB play is adequate.

He has been on this board for a little over a year. I don't know what his problem is. He can answer the question and get out of the thread for all I care.

Or, he can just go away.

probably, but it's hard to predict finishes like they had against UGA and Bama. In a normal world they finish that season 8-4 and Alabama wins the division. Crazy things happen sometimes, but I wouldn't say that Auburn defied the odds and disproved some long held belief that you can't win championships without a decent defense.

I don't know. I write other kinds of threads there. You are missing my point. My point is that I am not interested in validation. I am wondering what the SEC Rant thinks of LSU's chances IF QB play is marginally better. All of the preseason predictions say that LSU will be terrible because of poor QB play and because Chavis is gone. Well, what if one of those factors are improved a bit?

Just wondering if opinions would change any or if the prediction for LSU is locked in.

I know what most LSU fans think already. They see the overall talent of the whole team and know that the team can be good if a few areas improve.
