I think the team will "be significantly better" than we are seemingly perceived. The schedule will keep us from contending for the NC. We could figure into the SEC West race though.

As does every team. Well, except media darling bama

Yes because Bama has proved nothing on the field the last 5 seasons.

If we are basing this off of last year, then LSU and UF were the only teams to beat more than one top 10 team in the country. But you guys think LSU has no shot at the bcs title. Yeah ok.

While I agree you should be ranked number one, you did get the benefit in 2011. Rolls reversed and LSU doesnt get a mulligan. So you had the media before you won #2 and #3.

IMO, Bama and UGA are the best teams in the conference this year and I think UGA will be better than Bama. In fact I think UGA is the best team in the country this year.

UGA has to get by a legit USC and FL team in the East though. Bama has to get through LSU, but plays them at home with 2 weeks of prep time. I do not think A&M is a legit top 10 team this year in all honesty, but we will see.

If UGA makes it to Atl, I think they win the SECC. If they have one loss or less, I think they are in the BCSNCG and will mop the field with OSU or Lousiville by 20+. Oregon is the only team that even has a chance against the SEC champ this year.

1. You lost to Clemson in the Chicken Bowl. This is the same Clemson that USC had just thumped at Clemson.

the transitive property doesn't work in sports.....idiot

2. You lost A LOT of folks from last year. Do you have talent to replace it? Sure, but there is a lot of unknowns when you replace so much.

who lost more starters....LSU or A&M? who played more underclassmen...LSU or A&M?

3. The difference between Top 3 and Top 6 in the SEC could be a bounce of the football. 3 losses probably puts you at 6.

you're not very good at facts

5. LSU has a ridiculously tough schedule this year with as many as 5 games that will be as tough as Clemson and easily the toughest in the SEC. Georgia, Florida, A&M, Bama, and even TCU are going to be very tough games. I also wouldn't sleep on the road trip to Oxford the week after playing Florida.

we play tough schedules every year

6. The good news (if you want to call it that) is LSU will get every chance to prove just how good they are this year due to that schedule.

and A&M will get every chance to prove how overrated they are when they lose atleast 3 games this year.

Kudos to him and hopefully the Cameron hire will make this effective.

I'm not quite as optimistic about that as most LSU fans are.....but i have been proven wrong more often than I have been proven right, so who knows!

Yep. But this isn't last years team, bud. I mean, you lost a ton of starters off your defense, and let's face it, they were starters for a reason. They were better than the guys you will have this year.

Of course...you seem to have straightened out some of the problems you had last year...coaching, etc....we'll just have to wait and see.
