While I think LSU can beat Alabama this year, I wouldn't bet on it. Anyone would be a fool to bet against Alabama straight up this year. I'm looking forward to a good game that should come down to the 4th quarter.

I think you're missing the point.
It's not so much about replacing Miles with Orgeron as it is replacing Cameron with Ensminger.
The philosophy is different, LSU isn't going to just go out there and try to out-talent everybody. They're actually going to try to scheme some.
Miles' approach was that if the offense just executed the play as called, they would be unstoppable. That just doesn't work against equal talent combined with excellent coaching.

I'm not sure what melt will be worse. LSU loses to Bama for a 6th time in a row, or LSU wins and the Aggies, Gumps, & Piggies melt.

I think LSU can win. They will likely need to win the turnover battle and maybe even by two. Which is very hard to do considering how well bama turns teams over. I'm not predicting it, but i think it CAN happen if the stars aligned that night.

I think part of being a fan for a lot of people in dealing in absolutes that aren't there. You are 100% correct in theory, I just think in actuality there is nothing wrong with a little hope and hyperbole.
Personally I am happy with having a more reasonable point of view, but I don't think just because someone throws a little hyperbole in a statement means that it should be open hunting season on the poster and their opinions expressed.
