It would be an upset but last time i checked upsets do happen from time to time.

That is my whole point. The way people talk on this forum it seems like they really believe what happened in the last game or the last five games can determine what happens this year. I support LSU fans who believe their team can pull off such an upset, as I might feel the same way in a similar circumstance.

Of course we think we can win! Isn't that what you call a fan? I mean does Bama fans actually think we should just automatically think they should win? That's why you play the game and see what happens. I know I think we can win rather we do or not.

I understand, but nobody on that coaching staff is going to out-scheme Saban, Kiffin and Pruitt.

We have no idea how good our coaching staff is at scheming without Miles.

For some reason people get this idea that just because a team beat your team five times in a row they are guaranteed to win the sixth time. And on top of that they then they want to mock you for being a rational human being that points out the fallacy in their logic.

I 100% agree part of being a fan is being positive about every game.

I would hope after this week that isn't an issue anymore because LSU fans can now see the logical fallacy inherent in those beliefs.

All the tangibles just tightened way up, so now it's up to the intangibles.

Tiger Stadium

Nightime

Bama

I'm not predicting an LSU win, I'm just saying that chance will play a much bigger role this year than last. Everything being relatively close, the pointy ball can make all the difference in a W or an L.

Two coaches with two different rosters with two different talent levels cannot be directly compared.

I get that, and it was just a typical response to another old sarge troll post....but why is aTm so much worse this year on defense? They are giving up almost 100 more yards per game.

Our best player has been hurt most of the season.

Our schedule is harder than last year too.

I'm pulling for every team playing Bama this season. Ags need Alabama to lose two games to make the SEC championship, so Geaux Tigers and... Go Tigers I guess.

Oh and frick Bama too.

A lot of the "younger" LSU fans only remember the probation Bama teams that came in there. They had no chance with 59 players that nobody wanted going up against Saban. When Bama is at full strength, we play very well there. Bryant said it was like playing in a drum but he also said he never worried about a pregame speech because by the time his players got in the locker room they were so tired of hearing the bullshite from LSU fans his players were ready to kill somebody.

This is exactly what OP was talking about. Using the past to justify THIS game. You cant base your prediction off of a drunk's words from 50 years ago.

The last few meetings in TS have gone down to the wire against better bama teams than this one. Those were against a Miles led team that was insanely predictable and easy to defend against.

If you cant see the drastic improvements that have been made, and see where LSU has a good shot (probably the best shot that anyone is going to give), then you're drowning in the crimson koolaid.

I think its a close game and is won in the last few minutes either way...
