Thanks for the compliment, I think...I like and respect LSU, but where's their QB on the list? For a top 5 national recruiter with an ex-NFL OC, that position has been pretty disappointing. Dak says he appreciates the opportunity to prove you wrong.

This is probably close to the dumbest thing I have seen in a while.

There no way Dak survives the whole season behind a rebuilt line and a first time Center.

Oh, but I guess a first time QB in the SEC without a run game will excel? One injury on that pitiful O-line and it will be panic time with the backups listed on your roster.

quote:

He's going to try to play under center to improve his draft stock, which is anti-Mullens offense and will be out for good by midseason

And where did you read this bs? I'd bet that you assumed based off of this quote, "Clayborn, who prefers to snap under center rather than shotgun, has confidence in his techniques.". Either that or you're stalking a MSU message board.

They're all obsessed with Elite Dawgs. That's where they get their info.

Link the the box score of your championship appearance.Like an arky demolishing or a TCU demolishing? We had the lead in the fourth quarter and ended up losing 24-14 to the eventual national champion.

Funny it didn't take our best seasons to finish above you in the final SEC standings since the 2009 season.

Doesn't he lose his entire O Line? I like Dak and LSU should have secured him early. He might be the best in the SEC.

He just lost too many seniors around him to have another great year.

Prescott is the best QB in the SEC right now period. Until somebody else can perform better, it remains that way.

His entire team this year, two-deep, are juniors or seniors or even red-shirt seniors. It's not like State has a bunch of 19 year olds starting this year.

Thank you, State has one of highest averages of age for a team in the conference.

Not sure why you felt the need to tie this conversation back to OM because I thought we were discussing Dak. But feel free to use OM as your benchmark. I wouldn't expect otherwise

Furthermore, since you wanted to shift the focus to OM, I'm not too worries about whomever we trot out behind the most experienced line in the SEC. If I'm Dak, I'm praying that the rebuilt line and first time center in front of me don't cost me millions of dollars because of injury

Are all in contention for the best in the SEC. People will say Jeremy Johnson, Allen, and Dobbs haven't played full seasons but their talent speaks for itself

I bet Les Miles, Cam Cameron, and the entire LSU fanbase wishes they had Dak lining up under center for the Bayou Bengals this season.

Nooooooooo- where do ya'll get this? We lost 3 guys- 2 return plus 2 others that have made starts. Every one of our 5 starters this year has played a lot

When another team loses 3/5 OLine starters "you lose 60% of your OLine"

When MSU loses the same...."meh...no big deal"

Interesting...you had no solid argument as to why Dak wouldn't be a Top SEC quarterback,so you brought your team into the fold. Looks like you're the one measuring and coming up short.

Actually I did. The fact that you're replacing over half your line and with a center who hasn't played the position in almost a decade is argument enough.

And I added the part about replacing our QB compared to y'all's line is only because coondog brought it up first

Let's see...we lost an OT that was a 2* with no other SEC offers, a 2* center with no other SEC offers, and a walk-on guard who moved over to replace Day for the aTm game...damn I hate to see what we do with some 3* with SEC offers. Meanwhile you've got 2 of your guys coming back off serious injures in Morris and Tunsil and both have failed to make it through an entire season the last 2 years. You're breaking in a new QB with no SEC experience and you have no running game with the Freeze offense. Good day, sir!

Damn...amazing to see an MSU fan saying stars do matter. Where's all of that diamond in the rough bullshite from the past few seasons?
