Just swap Auburn with Vanderbilt and you could call it Little Bro Division and Big Bro Division.
Nice sentiment, but I dont want any of that South. Yes, Im scared. That division is hell.

Georgia is one injury-plagued season from near national title appearance and suddenly we don't look so hot. That's including the fact that a "not so hot Georgia" had one less win than an A&M team that had their best player ever.
Well, I'll be damned.

Easy solution is to get rid of them, and Bama-Tennessee, AU-Georgia schedule each other in a non-conference game in the years they roll off the schedule. Yea it's unconventional, but that is the only way to keep the conference schedule fair. And if the rivalries are really that important, then the schools shouldn't have a problem doing this. FWIW, I would hope Bama-UT would do this, but when being put to the fire by conference eliminating perma-rivals, I don't the decision makers at the schools would follow through, and would let the rivalry fade.
I agree with all of this.

That's not even close to being somewhat fair

Sounds messy. I'll pass.

Not messy at all, but OK. If you care to elaborate on what makes it messy, I'll be happy to discuss.

We'd have to play an SEC schedule, a neutral site game with UF, an OOC game with GT and then an OOC game with AU. Every year.
Messy.

Two of these things are not like the others.

Well, theoretically y'all will have covered the big 5 conference mandate each year by playing Georgia Tech. Then you are just replacing the Colorado/Boise State/Clemson type non-conference games with Auburn in the years they roll off the normal conference schedule (and when they roll back on you can pick up an additional non-conference big 5 opponenet if you like). As for neutral site game with Florida, that has nothing to do with this.
Not messy, and hasn't really changed much.

You mean the only two with losing conference records last year- MS State and Florida?

MSU is 100 miles north of I-20 there Magellan

But it does because we are limited in home games. We have to keep scheduling 2 OOC games a year from big conference teams we aren't allowed to schedule the cream puffs the rest of you will and that puts us at a disadvantage because we are deprived a home game which hurts competitively and monetarily. It also limits our ability to ever play anyone OOC and thus ends our regional rivalry with Clemson that has already been limited and the ability to play big time match ups like the one UGA is working on for ND.
Georgia shouldn't have to play 2 big OOC games annually while the rest of the SEC has one. Georgia shouldn't be deprived of home games because of the WLOCP and this new rule.
Basically, tldr version, my points have little to do with SEC fairness. I want what's good for Georgia. That is the status quo. Luckily that won out.

apologies
we come from the Big 12 where weaker top to bottom Northern divisions were a way of life.

That's why the big 12 is known as a "power bottom" conference

OR maybe he is referencing the fact that there are 2 schools on this list that have not won any type of football championship of note in the 21st century
But it is really anybody's guess. We'll have to wait for him to come back and answer...

Hell yea! Defend the frick out of Florida, bro!
