Never read the books or watched the Lynch movie. But loved Dune 1 so much I read some details wikipedia notes. And even if I hadnt, the basic story is enough to keep folks enthralled. There is a obviously a more detailed story there from the books, but I think the movies stand well enough on th...
Was he offerred? Serious question. I like Schumann a lot and at some point we need to get him in the fold back at Bama for the future....

Yep! Hell, maybe I’ll just take a long 30 year hiatus as a fan and come back and see if anybody has come close to the success we witnessed at Bama in a mere 17 years. Doubtful!...
It’s just the rival trolls who are taking the opportunity to trash us anonymously
Unfortunately there is some friendly fire trolling/melting as well....
Bama fans are gonna be shocked how well the team is coached next season. The quality of the assistant coaches for the past several years has been dogtrash relative to what Saban had when he started. A lot of the recent success was due solely to the process, incredible talent gap, and subpar c...
Deboer and Saban are obviously totally different, and so there is some turmoil right now. Deboer is more of a team culture type guy than Saban. Saban’s culture was hard arse work and winning, which was great and he attracted a lot of folks looking to win championships and go on to the NFL. Deb...
This is what happens when you go play for a coach and not a school
Maybe. Probably. :dunno: For the past seventeen years of success totally worth it so we’ll take some bumps in the road right now....
LSU has won countless titles since he left.
One…. Two…. Oh shite, not countless at all, I got there very quickly....
Saban don't owe anyone a God damn thing
Exactly. Thank you for speaking sense. Dude is 72 years, and has worked his arse off, ridiculous hours at the office, for years. He thought about giving it one more go for another year, but decided that even considering just one more year...
8 figures?
Go ahead and eliminate that number. No way in hell is a college player getting paid tens of millions dollars....
you can’t handle the least little dissent
The problem is, it’s not usually this. It’s usually the same culprits who are unrelentingly negative about everything. I dont know what all youve said on thr subject since Deboer was hired, so not necessarily directing at you. But the j...
You’re kind of a bitch but on a positive note that’s note as bad as it use to be. People accept it now.
Nah, i’m a pragmatist. Honestly, what good does it do to help the team to rant on a message board constantly? Do you think you are impacting officials in the athletic departmen...
I was unrelentingly negative for weeks during this past off season about the coordinator position hires. I was extremely upset about something I love and needed a place to vent, and this was that place
This is the problem. No one should be so upset about this sport, that for weeks...
Dont understand why you are getting downvotes. I think it is spot on. As great as Saban is, the past three seasons havent been greatly coached teams (though this year was still amazing to pull of what they did). But we’ve seen a ton of busted assignments, penalties, and some bonehead decisions. ...
Sl0thstronautEsq
Thanks for the info. Yeah we need to start building that pipeline. Those two would be great. Maybe one day Hightower will get into it after spending so many years around the other Goat coach. But Hightower has made so much money playing, maybe not ...

Are there any other former Bama defensive stars that we could look at for DC? Not even for this hire neccessarily, but for potential future ones and you bring them as a high level assistant and dc is their next move? Kinda how Demeco was just 4 or 5 years. Do we have any other formers defensi...
As of today, obviously Georgia. They won two in a row, ad would have probably three-peated had they got in the playoff. Kirby has built a well-oiled machine in Athens that isn’t slowing down any time soon....
Your life is Bama football.
So is yours and many “LSU” fans apparently. So you should probably just swap allegiances and get some enjoyment out of Bama football, instead being miserable rooting for its demise that never comes....

Sucks, but he gave us Gravedigger, so will always be remembered fondly at Bama. :rolltide:...

So does that mean we will hire Schumann as DC in exchange? I’ll take it....
