TN has only beaten FL 6 times since they started playing ever year in 1990.

That is some South Carolina-level stuff right there.

Florida has been Tennessee's weakness for decades now. Gotta get that monkey off our back, then beat it to death, then bury it in a lead container dozens of feet underground.

80% of posts by Gator fans on this board are comprised of gloating about our success against Tennessee. How did you not know?

What fun is there gloating about beating Vandy or Kentucky?

Time to gloat some more, I am 60yrs old and UT has beaten UF 8 times in my lifetime. 8-26 since 1956

Yeah. The SEC needs to look into just giving Florida a bye week and hand em the W. No sense in risking injury when Tennessee loss is inevitable.

Wow, that's strong.

I have been following SEC football for 20 years or so and aside from the late 90's, UT has never been very good.

Also this is ignorant

Final AP Ranking
1985: 4 (SECC)
86: UR
87: 14
88: UR
89: 5 (SECC)
90: 7
91: 14
92: 12
93: 12
94: 22
95: 3
96: 9
97: 7 (SECC)
98: 1 (SECC, MNC)
99: 9
00: 25
01: 4
02: UR
03: 15
04: 13
05: UR
06: 25
07: 12

that's 22 years with 4 SECs, a natty, 6 top 5 finishes, 10 top 10 finishes, 17 top 15, and 20 ranked finishes. Just the late 90s?

Okay, you are better than Carolina.

We haven't been very good historically, is this news?

It goes in cycles if you play long enough. For the longest time Georgia had Florida's number, now it's the other way around. When I was in school AU had Georgia's number, now they've got ours. Ebs and flows.

So, the same 6-20 record that MS State has against national power Alabama in that same time period. Bulldogs would get, justifiably, get ridiculed off of the board if we pretended to be Bamas rival.

Tighten up Vols

Florida vs the rest of the east since the SEC went to division play.

20-6 UGa
20-6 UT
19-5 SCar (SCar has won 4 of these since 2010)
23-1 Van
26-0 Ky

What I like most about this stat, is that no one can remember past bowl season and everyone is picking against us this year. Nice and under the radar. Shhhh

Add the fact that UF has also dominated Vandy and Kentucky for decades. Mizzou has been the only UF competition in the East of late. Weird

How it feels now that we've started beating UF as of late while america diverts its attention away from our rivalry and squarely onto ut's ineptitude
