I think LSU is overrated as well but thats only because I don't think they are a top 3 team. If they do lose to Oregon it won't be by a blowout. LSU has the defense and running game to keep every game close.

To the original post, I don't think LSU is a NC contender this year. Tough schedule. 10-2 or 9-3 most likely.

Naw man, i'm not tryin to be a troll. I honestly just think LSU isn't going to do good. It's nothing against LSU. I'm just trying to get people to look at things from a different view than the preseason mags and polls. If you looked at LSU's team and really analyze the match ups and weaknesses against other teams, I just don't see how they are rated so highly.

I will take that bet on Oregon game?? LSU's defense will be better than last year. If LSU's QB can have an average season than theres 11-2 anything above that then theres your NC. I believe LSU will lose one game and it will be a close one to bama. LSU will crush Tenn this year for whats its worth

I'd really like to know which 5-6 games people think we came close to losing last year, besides the two we actually lost.
Obviously, you have Tennessee and North Carolina. There were no other games that came down to the last play.
And please don't come back with Ole Miss and Alabama. Those were close games and we made the plays and won. If you want to go there then we can identify a bunch of games every year for just about every team.

OK...where are LSUs weaknesses when matched up against Oregon, Arky, bama, Miss. State, Ole Miss, WV?
At what positions are those teams better than LSU?
