Those are absolutely all top-shelf jobs, so even the bottom one is an excellent position. Leaving out my fandom, I would rank them like this:
Georgia: talent rich state and they are by far the biggest program. Fans seem pretty reasonable (for SEC fans). Athens would be a nice place to live.
LSU: Only major program in talent-rich state. Have to live in BR, but close to NOLA.
Florida: talent-rich state, but have to deal with other major programs.
Auburn: have to compete w/ Bama in a smallish state
Bama: have to compete w/ Auburn in smallish state. Fan expectations would be tough to deal with.
Texas A&M: Good job in a talent-rich state, but have to compete with other major programs. Have not demonstrated ability to win the SEC (or even make it to SECCG)
Tennessee: Not as much talent as other SEC states. I'm not sure Tennessee will ever be at the level they once were. I personally wouldn't love living in land-locked state. Still a great job.

Being completely unbiased, probably something like:
LSU
Florida
Georgia
Alabama
A&M
Tennessee
Auburn
LSU

Nope. Interviewed for Kentucky job in New Orleans at Sugar Bowl. Resigned, good riddance.

but Auburn and UT have always recruited GA will well
Georgia produced 210+ FBS signess last year and just like the other big 4 states (Texas,Florida,California)
they have alot of schools coming into the state looking for players. Georgia still has a better situation than any of those other states listed when you look at the total number of FBS signees compared schools in state and Ga State and Southern are both recent additions to DI who really can't compete with us for big time recruits.

UGA faces not just in state competition from Ga Tech
UGA rarely loses a recruit to GT.They just recruit different kids.

Hands down if I had no allegiance to any SEC team it would be UF. Large state with talent out the ying yang. Great climate year round.

Shula and Dubose were the only 2 HCs that got fired..
Bill Curry was also canned
"In early 1990, Alabama tendered Curry a new contract which contained provisions he disliked, including no raise and removal of his power to hire and fire assistants.[7] Curry was particularly upset by this since he'd led the Tide to a share of its first SEC title and its first major-bowl appearance since the Bryant era. He responded by accepting an offer to become the head coach at the University of Kentucky."

I don't see why that is a bad thing for egomaniac coaches. If you are the guy who actually wins at A&M we will give you a lifetime contract. At a place like Bama they just say "he is good but not Bear good."

10 years ago choice would have been Tenn
5 years ago would have been tough choice btw LSU/UGA
Wouldn't consider Aub/Bama
Currently very tough choice btw UF/TAMU
But the final choice surprises even myself - TAMU
Would have to insist on not renewing the UT rivalry during my time there tho.

LSU! For a cool million a year I am willing replace Miles, Jones and Manieri.

I go Alabama. The pressure would be astounding, but at the end of the day it's Alabama. It's the best job in college football. If you can prove that your process is producing results then you will be given anything and everything you ask for.

What happens when Saban retires will speak volumes about the Bama job. I can see the appeal of coaching here but I can see reasons not to as well.

Yea,had nothing to do with him losing to Auburn 3 years in a row.None of those points would have been up for negotiation had he been more successful,ie beat Auburn.
So a coach comes off a school's 1st SECC in years and they refuse to give him a raise and don't give him autonomy to hire and fire assistants?Sorry,NO COACH in that circumstance would agree to those terms. So yea,he was fired.

UF/Bama (can still recruit well to Bama in the south)
UGA (Athens would be the big draw to live in, close to ATL, amazing talent level in GA)
LSU (excellent job, great football state. No big instate competition)
A&M
Could go either way with UT or AU for me.

Can win at these but not consistently. Mizzou would be my pick of these. State would be last.

Vandy
...has no chance to ever, ever win the sec. Ever.

LSU is arguably the best job in the country if you're a competent coach. The recruiting advantages there are unreal. Best anywhere imo.
