It seems that the HUNH and Spread is a good offensive scheme the first year in the SEC.

See: TAMU last year and AU 2010

Yet, the following year the coaching talent figures out how to stop them successfully and it's a tenuous season thereafter.
So A&M wasn't successful on offense this year? Don't go full gump.

I don't think those specifically are very good examples.

Auburn in 2010 lost Newton who was about the most perfect for that offense as you can have, who was replace by Kiel Frazier (lol) the next year. They lost quite a bit of an o-line that was mostly all seniors.

aTm had a great, unstoppable at times, offense this year. Problem was their defense was one of the worst in the history of the SEC. Every matchup they had was basically a basketball game.

Now I think Oregon might be a better example considering how well they usually do in the regular season, and have done much better in the post season the last two years. They've been able to sustain success for the most part. They just run into trouble against teams who can line up and slam them all game.

Guys, this is obviously a 10 year old who is off for Christmas. Let's just ignore him and move on.

The better question that the bammers need to ask is why 8 years after its implementation into the SEC, Kirby Smart or Nick Saban have not figured it out yet.

So the reason no one could stop Gus this year was because he skipped seasons?

I missed the part where Alabama stopped TAMU's offense this year.

It has cost Saban at least three SEC Championships and maybe two BCSNC.

Boise St. doesn't run a spread. They run a pro-set.

UF led the SEC in total offense in 2007, 2008, & 2009. They led the SEC in scoring offense in 2007 & 2008 and finished 2nd by 0.1ppg to Arkansas in 2009.

Can't find anything on 2006, as the NCAA website is down. However, you should get the point.
