I believe God looks like Coach Bryant. Met The Bear one time in Athens, press conference. I forget the year but Bama beat the Dawgs by 18-10.

We reporters went to ask questions and all I could hear back was mumble, grumble, mumble, mumble! And no way in Hades was I going to ask him to repeat. Bisher did and Bear ignored him.

I think all Bama fans living now, got some of their pride from The Bear, filtering down to Saban.

If the Gumps aren't arrogant, then they are patronizing. And, dammit once again, they got a right to be. Bama ain't a rich state. And back in the 1960s it looked like a third world country. But the Gumps won, and never will I begrudge them that. I was pulling for them last Saturday, I will pull for them against the Suckeyes, and I will pull for them to go all all the way once again.

Can you actually be a Cock and a Dawg at the same time? Is that even legal?

How do you deal with your fellow uniform-over-a-hoodie OSU fans?

It's a neutral site game, so you won't get many Gumps at all.

I was in New York City a few weeks ago and saw many an Alabama and Auburn fan. Got quite a few Roll Tides and War Eagles passing people on the street wearing a ball cap or a jacket.

It was actually pretty cool.

Get on their best side! Hang out at the Krystals on Bourbon Street after midnight wearing Free UAB shirts. It will go swimmingly well.

Also mention Bryant wasn't that great as an icebreaker.

Yeah, the OP's never seen a Bama fan up North comment was pretty dumb. Heck, there's even a popular Bama themed bar in Chicago near Wrigleyville.

lets think about this...

You are fan of football DEFCON 5
You are crossing the Ohio Ocean to attend a football game DEFCON 4
You are a fan of a B1G school DEFCON 3
You are a fan of Ohio State DEFCON 2
You have a coach named Urban Meyer DEFCON1

I suggest you stay on your side of the Ohio Ocean and live to fight another day.

Lulz coming from an OSU fan this is hilarious.

You guys have one of the most arrogant for no damn reason fanbases on the planet.

You're worse than us, but literally have no reason to be.

Some of us are thinking about going down to NOLA (with lube because everyone said we'll need it) since we'll be in Atlanta during Christmas break and we're concerned about Bama fans. I'm sure we'll show up in droves and so will Bama but for the negative reputation and stigma that the elephants get, is the interaction with their fans as bad as most people make it out to be? I'm sure not everyone can be Phyillis (who is actually a nice lady) or in your face yelling so I prefer to hold back judgement on a fanbase based on others actions.

I have never even seen a Bama fan up north so should I be worried?

You will find it to be quite the opposite, as the UA fans will, by and large, show you courtesy and class during dining/ tailgating or any other interaction you might have with the UA group.

I wish you and yours safe travels later this month. Roll Tide!
