Some of us are thinking about going down to NOLA (with lube because everyone said we'll need it) since we'll be in Atlanta during Christmas break and we're concerned about Bama fans. I'm sure we'll show up in droves and so will Bama but for the negative reputation and stigma that the elephants get, is the interaction with their fans as bad as most people make it out to be? I'm sure not everyone can be Phyillis (who is actually a nice lady) or in your face yelling so I prefer to hold back judgement on a fanbase based on others actions.

I have never even seen a Bama fan up north so should I be worried?

Next to Notre Dame, about half the are the most arrogant you will find. Recent years have made them worse.

But let me add this arrogance is well earned. I have often compared then to Parisians, the most arrogant people on Earth. Bama is arrogant, condescending and proud. And they have every right to be.

About the same as most fanbases. Have you ever been around LSU? It is nothing like that. Most just mind their business. Nobody jumping in your face tigerbaiting you to no end. Most everybody just keeps to themselves. Quite tame crowd actually. Some would say boring. The Phyllis's of the world can't afford these games.

every fan base thinks they are great and everyone else sucks....your post reads in that manner.

Bama fans are really annoying , not just bc they are winning these past few years, even when yall are down- that Bama arrogance is ugly. You cant see it bc its yalls way of Life. I get it...I accept it- yall just cant help it

Brings up an interesting questions with these 2 fan bases. Is the constant spelling of Ohio more annoying or the constant roll tide

Is NOLA really that much fun?

Best time I've ever had before and after a football game was in NOLA after the Sugar Bowl game a few years ago. Can't wait for Dec 30th and my flight down.

Ohio, Louisiana, Alabama... and tourists for New Years hitting up bourbon. Like I said.. white trash festival. It's a perfect storm.

You're always so butt hurt and I haven't really figured out why yet.

NOLA. Bama fans are the least of your concerns.

I would usually say don't worry about our fans, but this is New Orleans, New Years, and a big game so at least one of our fans will most certainly do something stupid. We can't help it.

They are 85% scumbags, 5% psychotics, 5% inbreds, and 5% graduates. Just find out which one you are dealing with, and act accordingly.

My advice: Wear Alabama gear . . . and don't drink so much that you pass out in public.

You may have, and yes. Alabama football fans are the same people that are Kentucky basketball fans. No one has ever seen them in the same room.

Be careful.Oh,and Phyllis is not a nice lady.

Ohio State fans are the worst in the country.

This is an accurate statement. They are worse than the worst of UF, UA, or LSU fans. Outside of Notre Dame, they have the largest contingent of sidewalk fans in CFB.
