It's funny how your fans get excited about the timing of games I.E. getting to play Auburn after an open date but act like LSU fans are making "excuses" when they say that we lost because we were coming off of an absolute slugfest with Alabama that basically made the rest of our season irrelevant.

But we don't say our one point loss to Alabama was the reason we lost to Georgia the week after.

Ok...? What exactly is your point of quoting a post from some random arse person

No, the narrative is still that he sucks. Congrats on yelling that he's good loud enough and frequently enough to convince the dumb portion of college football fans that he's a good coach.

lots of other posts in that thread by lsu fans saying bert is a good coach

but you're having so much fun with your head in the sand why pull it out now

I did and you seemed to focus mainly on the season leading to the nc game- thus my previous reply.
10+ wins in 2/3 years since we went to the national championship 3 WHOLE years ago. We went to a national championship 3 years ago and we've seen consistent success and top 5 recruiting classes since then and you're calling us irrelevant, you're a true blue moron if I've ever spoken to one.

I'm certain I do and it's doesn't look purple and gold anymore
In the fantasyland that you're living in where Arkansas is somehow a good team after winning a grand total of 2 SEC games in 2 years and coming off of a 7 win season? Did you catch the part where Arkansas has won 10 games 3 times in 26 years including ZERO times since Petrino left? Ya'll are nothing more than a poor man's LSU, get over it. We own the series all time and recently, and ya'll can't win 10 games to save your lives. Go be irrelevant somewhere else and stop talking shite about teams and coaches that Arkansas can only dream of seeing the same level of success as

Less is NOT elite! He rode the Saban train to his championship.

Hell Arkansas beat that team.

Saban is elite.
Urben is elite
That's it !
There are some getting it together but have not broken through.

I've got adult things to do for a little bit so this will be it for me for awhile.

I really haven't been saying anything about Bert or my opinion of how good we are in this thread at all- stop hallucinating. However, I'll leave you with this- I would take Bert over Les any day every day all day.

Ooooooooookkkkkkkkkkk? And what exactly do you think I meant by "the dumb portion of college football fans"? Do you think I was excluding every simpleton in our fanbase because I'm an LSU fan or something? I really don't care if every single LSU fan on the SEC rant says that Bert is a good coach, that doesn't make it true, and if they think he's a national championship level or even SEC championship level coach then they're clueless. There are dumbasses in our fanbase that think Miles is a shitty coach even though he's seen more consistent success since 2005 than any coach in the country other than Meyer or Saban, but you think their opinions are credible about who is and who isn't a good coach right?

Mad about what? The fact that my team has won 10+ games in 8/10 seasons since Miles took over, won 2 SEC championships, 1 national championship, and 3 out of the last 4 meetings between LSU and Arkansas? You're exactly right, we're still LSU and ya'll are still Arkansas, glad you realize that

its always a sad day when a run comes to an end. Dont think of it as an end, think of it as a new beginning. The 90s werent THAT bad for LSU

Guess he rode the Saban train to 13-0 and beating the piss out of every single team we played until we rematched with Alabama 4 years later right? You can't even spell Urban Meyer's name but you're a big college football fan with a credible opinion right?

Ah, the classic "X team only lost 2 games in this year and won the national championship but they suck because they had one bad game against Y team who went 6-6" argument that Arkansas fans love so much. Backwoods logic at its finest

Lemme put that another way for you: "I would take a coach who has won 2 SEC games in 2 years at my school and hasn't won anything noteworthy in his entire career over a coach who has won 10+ games in 8 out of 10 seasons, 2 SEC championships, 1 national championship, is one of the best recruiters of players and assistant coaches alike in the country, and is a good family man and has good character because a bunch of barely functioning morons that feed off of each other's ignorance on an internet forum tell me that Bert is better than Les". I'm sure you're real busy doing big adult things with that thought process

I think he will be fired in 3-4 years. but if we are all lucky he will have one good year and go 5-3 in conference play and stick around longer. I couldn't understand the hire , his game plan would be ok if he got a job at one of the big 6 but Arkansas is a average SEC program at best. It's funny that 2 of the bottom 6 are trying to win with smash mouth football and struggling . Smash mouth football is for elite talent not below average.

Good lord man, you act as if LSU has beaten Arkansas the way Bama has the past 15 years. Look up the record. LSU isn't elite, not as in Bama, elite. They are a miniature step above the Ole Misses, and Arkansas of the world. Just a step. And that has nothing to do with coaching, and a lot to do with recruiting.

Consider it this way. Take the following coaches, with LSU talent and tell me they wouldn't be as successful as Lester

Urban, Saban, Malzahn, Freeze, Strong, Petrino, Richt, any of these coaches could make a playoff or title game with Louisiana talent. ANY OF THEM! and Bert could as well.

Les is well, funny, kooky, grass eating, good coach. But not elite! Dayummm, just dayumm

Les Miles' record in the last 4 years:
13-1
10-3
10-3
8-5

"tDECLINE!!! Les' best days are behind him! LSU is going downhill! Les is a terrible coach and Bert is far superior, look at how your program is declining!"

Berts record in the last 6 years, 4 of which were in a super weak Big Ten conference:
10-3
11-2
11-3
8-5

3-9
7-6
"Bert's an elite coach and he's about to bring our program to the promised land! We're right on the verge of breaking out!"

Do you not see why ya'll are the dumbest, most hypocritical fan base on the rant? Les has accomplished far, far, far, more than Bert ever has and ever will and he's built a team that's MEDIOCRE QB play away from skullfricking every team in the nation. We took Alabama to overtime with Anthony Jennings at quarterback last season. LSU is still dangerous and we're still on top, QB troubles aside. Really looking forward to restoring order this season

We beat Alabama every year from 2000-2007 except for 2002. Our head to head record with Bama is 9-7 in the last 15 years. Tell me more about how much better Alabama is than us in the last 15 years though.

Since 2005 when Les took over:
Ole Miss 10+ win seasons: 0
Ole Miss national championship visits: 0
Ole Miss national championships: 0
Ole Miss SEC championships: 0
Ole Miss fewest wins in that span: 2

Arkansas 10+ win seasons: 3
Arkansas national championship visits: 0
Arkansas national championships: 0
Arkansas SEC championships: 0
Arkansas fewest wins in that span: 3

LSU 10+ win seasons: 8
LSU national championship visits: 2
LSU national championships: 1
LSU SEC championships: 2
LSU fewest wins in that span: 8

Just a step? get a clue

You know that "Lester" had to recruit that talent right? And that's part of being a good NCAA head football coach right? It's funny that you'll bring up guys like Strong and Richt who are in more talent rich areas than Les but haven't seen a fraction of his success and act like they're better coaches than him. Louisiana put out Warrick Dunn, Peyton Manning, Eli Manning, etc. and couldn't bring them home pre-Saban and Miles. BUT LOOK AT HOW MANY CHAMPIONSHIPS BERT WOULD WIN IF HE HAD TOM BRADY AS HIS QB. Your hypotheticals are stupid and pointless and show a lack of understanding of what it takes to be a good head football coach at the college level, and what aspects of being a head college football coach are difficult. He's built a terrific program and none of it fell in his lap.

Thank you, come again. Think before posting next time.

That's a lot of words to still lead to the conclusion that Bielema > Miles.

Do you think that people don't notice when you upvote your own posts? Hint: it gives it away when I click into this thread to edit my post with no new responses, take two seconds to do so, and I come back and there's a new post with one upvote. That's so pathetic

If Bielema is better then Miles then that makes Arkansas football program a joke? Because Bielema's results are no where near miles results.
