Arkansas will end up being dumb enough to give that man another year after another season below .500, but he will absolutely be gone after 2.

Do you think that people don't notice when you upvote your own posts? Hint: it gives it away when I click into this thread to edit my post with no new responses, take two seconds to do so, and I come back and there's a new post with one upvote. That's so pathetic
Why would I upvote my post? It literally serves no purpose.
Now what could be called pathetic is the fact that you noticed an upvote and somehow let it bother you.

False?
The only thing false is LSU scored a point in the last 623 days

MerrickOL 4*
Wallace OL 4*

Really, do you think Bielema gives a single shite about the state of Arkansas? Doubtful.
He spent his summers as a child with family in Arkansas so...

I honestly thought you might be sincere, until you mentioned Nutt as one of our best coaches. Regardless, I'll worry about Bielema leaving after he wins something meaningful. Besides, coaches don't leave Arkansas without receiving a few nudges or a kick in the arse.

Bert will likely win the next 7 or 8 playoffs at Arkie.
The NFL will expand to Fayetteville adding the University of Arkansas to the AFC South.

How much longer is Bielema at Arkansas?(Posted on 8/11/15 at 1:35 pm)
255
He just doesn't seem like the type to spend the majority of his career - much less a decade in Fayetteville. I really liked the hire by Long. It seemed out of the box at the time, but is obviously starting to pay dividends. Bielema is an excellent coach and could win anywhere once his system is implemented.

I don't know about all that, but he's certainly won more bowl games than the head coach at the other SEC school in Alabama not named Alabama

It's funny that 2 of the bottom 6 are trying to win with smash mouth football and struggling . Smash mouth football is for elite talent not below average.
And yet, he won 3 straight B1G titles with lesser talent then he has at Arkansas. Bert doesn't recruit great players: he builds them.
Btw, how's recruiting coming along at Florida?

Only Arkansas fans could believe something this ridiculous. You got a pretty good second choice. Be happy. You don't always have to wish for the best of something when you can have something that is pretty good. There are only so many elite coaches around and Arkansas just didn't have the firepower to get one of them to come. They even offered Sumlin-money to do it. Just be happy you didn't end up with CUSA's favorite runner-up or Brian Kelly's slower, worse MACtion hero.
I'm convinced that Bielema was Long's first choice all along and that no other coaches were ever seriously considered. He's everything Long needed and the two had been working out the details for months, but they obviously can't say that (we do know they'd been talking for months, though).
That's part of the reason why the Miles' offer was so confusing, but the other part was because Long would have been ran out of town if he'd been successful and he had to know that. All you need to know for the truth is to look at who benefited from it. LSU would re-hire Saban, before Arkansas ever hired Miles.
