Three programs in the SEC have fired coaches who have won NCs, so the excuse of trying to justify not firing Richt doesn't hold water in the SEC.

And how has that worked out for them?

Allowing those damn yankees to win the East the last two seasons is another fireable offense.

So you are saying UGA is afraid to fire Richt ? I guess they accepted what they are going to get with him.

Look at the record each year of the teams he defeated.

The three coaches were Stallings, Fulmer and Chizik.

I know Uga has been beat top ten ut, au, Gtu, and uf teams in his career. Heck. Au was #9 when we thrashed yall just this year, the most recent example.

Chiz was fired after a 3 win season, fulmer after his 2nd 5 win season in a 4 year period, and stallings was not fired, so this was one of your dumber points, and that says a lot.

No he doesn't. How much money did UT lose by firing a known commodity in Fulmer.

1) no, that's not what I'm saying. If we were going 6-6 every year we'd fire him in a heartbeat. We won 10 games last year.

2) you didn't answer my question

As much as this subject gets discussed, it never gets old seeing how defensive and bent out of shape the Georgia tards get over a coach that has let Missouri win their division the last two years on top of all his other failings

Sorry Phan, but you think too much of yourself. Pointing out the obvious idiocy of points made by you and others on this subject is not evidence of being upset and bent out of shape. To think otherwise just proves how delusional you are.

It took Bama 10 years & 5 coaches(including Joe Kines 1 game)before they recovered & Saban was hired...

UT has been non-competitive for 7 years since they fired Fulmer & the jury is still out on whether Jones is gonna be successful there or not...

AU has had good coupla years under Gus so far....

So 2 of those 3 programs went in the shitter, one for 10 years & the other for 7 years & counting...

Be careful what you ask for...

Because he beats Auburn and Tech.

You reduce the impact of either of those and he's not the coach there for some time.

Since UGAs last SECC, here is the record of the TN and AU teams they DEFEATED:

TN:7-6, 5-7, 5-7 5-7, 6-7, 5-7, 5-7

AU: 8-5,3-9,8-5,8-5,5-7,9-4,11-2

And yes, Stallings was fired.

Simple. Richt is a top-3 coach in the SEC behind only Saban and Miles, and not far behind Miles at that. In fact, the two are close to even, with miles getting the nod by a hair on the basis of 2007 and 2011.

Disagree. He'd still be averaging 9-10 wins every year and you don't fire someone like that.

I personally like having Richt and Les in the league. Gives Arkansas a better chance to win with inept coaching.

I actually agree with him. See Jim Donnan. Record vs rivals is always important no matter the school.

You must be fifteen years old or just a dumbass. Even Alabama Fans know he was forced out by the AD, who was an idiot. They let him announce his retirement to save face.

Have you ever considered that we've been to 2 national championships in 10 years under Miles, won one, and taken home two SEC championships? He's only had two sub-10 win seasons in 10 years which is every bit as impressive as what MR's accomplished plus we actually have trophies to show for it unlike y'all
