They lost to Clemson and had to go to OT against a 5-7 TN during that stretch. Most SEC teams can take a snapshot in time and play what ifs.

Most can't take a snapshot quite like ours in 2013, and if any can, then they have a legit point to make. Despite the loss to Clemson, we beat LSU and SC, and were moving onto an easier part of the schedule. The game vs UT was AFTER that stretch FYI.

Fifth game of the year (North TX 3rd) and before Missouri. Remember AU was #3 in the first Playoff Poll, it is all on how you look at the end of the year.

Yep, this all checks out.

I know most SEC schools don't have to deal with Georgia Tech very often but this is why UGA fans can't stand them. They have the same number of probations as wins over UGA during this millennium, but to hear them talk Richt loses to them regularly.

Oh yeah because nobody else on this forum hates their rivals and calls them names. And No i think we all readily admit he owns GT, thats why we hate the smug bastard. Should be a good game this year at Bobby Dodd, i can't wait!

Yea, 5th game, which was when the injuries finally hit the level of absurd and destroyed the strength of our team.

The west is different because of AU recruiting GA and FL, LSU recruiting LA and TX, and AL recruiting MS and LA.

Although most all auNecks are scholars of Alabama football, you got this one wrong.

Alabama's historical recruiting grounds don't involve the state of Louisiana. Until Saban's arrival, and you should know this being an auNeck, Alabama only had 7 players in the total history of the program from the state of Louisiana.

The state with the most recruits to make the roster at Alabama, other than the actual state of Alabama, is Georgia. Following closely behind Georgia is Mississippi. Then comes the Panhandle of Florida and lower Tennessee and Memphis. Louisiana doesn't really factor in.
