Me too and some of the younger posters here might not realize how hard BCS/MNC are to come by. I was a freshman at Bama in 78 so I was lucky enough to see 2 back to back but then it was another 13 years before the next and then of course 17 until the next. Just enjoy this time while its here and even if we don't get another in the next few years that CNS is still coaching its ben a great run
I still think we have a legitment chance in 2013 though

Saban leaves after 3 more years of no national championships. In fact the next 2 years they will not even get to the NCG. Sure they're stacked with talent and have great recruiting classes and Saban is a great coach but you could say the same about other schools who haven't even played in the NCG for the last few years.

That same process didn't produce a championship from 2003 - 2009 over a 6 yr. period, even though he's had 2 in 3 yrs.
Saban is great at turning a program around and getting it headed in the right direction, but he's not proven yet that he can stay anywhere for the long haul. Maybe he'll do it at Bama, but I doubt it.
When his "process" doesn't produce the championships after he created the heightened expectations of doing it every year, he will leave on his own with enough money to live nicely on the lake for years to come.

In his last 7 years in College football, Saban has 3 NC's, and that's WITH having to rebuild 2 programs. The next several years will be something to behold.
