I guess it couldn't have to do with the fact that Sims has been there, has the locker room and has paid his dues. That counts, especially to those that have been there. I agree with everything Ware said. He never said Coker sucked.

Ya he never said Coker sucks. Blake played well for the most part and deserved the praise. He made a few bad throws, a mistake on the hand-off.

Coker had a much wider range in the pass game, plus we were already up by enough. Missed a wide open Amari Cooper in the middle of the field, went deep instead and overthrew it, had a bad clock mismanagement at the end of the half, and was much slower on the screens, inaccurate with other passes and timing was off.

Blake controlled the offense better, we won't know shite until we get to Florida, so just let it be. Has not a damn thing to do with race. I see more people making it about that than it should ever be.

It was really annoying how badly he was pandering.

I mean, Sims plays perfectly fine but Ware was just embarrassing.

When you play Florida Atlantic you get the D broadcasting team.

Sims is the man this year. He's earned it.

Coker needs a year in the system with some mop up duty. He will be fine next season.

Lot of Auburn alters pretending to be Bama fans in here.

Andre Ware was unfricking bearable in this game. I was waiting for him to petition for Sims to have a Heisman campaign because you know the bubble screen is so hard to complete.

I'm black myself and feel it's too early to write off Coker who played very well in the 2nd half.

Sims doesn't seem to pose much of a deep threat. But I could see a 2-QB system working pretty well.

They called the same play with Sims and he threw it to threw it short. Completion. Cooper was wide open when Coker threw it deep into double coverage.

I had no problems with Ware's comments as he seemed more critical of Coker in the 1st half (justifiably so) and in the 2nd half, as Coker improved, he was more complimentary. But on Coker's throw in the situation you mention, both receivers were open. It's true, Cooper was wide open; however, Ardarius Stewart had split the "double coverage" and had a couple of steps on the nearest defender...with a decent throw, that would've been 6. My critique would've focused more on that it was a poor throw by Coker as opposed to a poor read...

Sims is clearly the guy but it's like you guys are holding out for Coker.

I'm white, and I feel like its fairly obvious that Blake is the man this year.

The fact that you say probably just shows you want the great white hope Jake so bad. It is painfully obvious Sims is better but it....just......cant........be

that the coaches say it is still being contested. Sims is doing really well, we are all very pleased.

How is your QB situation going?

Let me say what I think the QB situation is in the eyes of BAMA fans. They do want Coker over Sims due to race, but it isnt out of true racism hate. Bama fans are used to seeing typical pocket white qbs play for them and be successful. Out of familiarity without even thinking about it Coker fits that roll with their eyes. So yes I think race is the reason they want Coker, but it doesnt stem from true racism

Pretty obvious that Jennings is more ready and will get the reigns but Harris has more physical tools and will be better in the future(prolly next year)

Sounds like the exact definition of racism to me. Choosing a lesser qualified candidate due to race.

I mean I guess you can say that but it doesnt stem from hate or ill-will is what I am saying. Same reason Quinn was going to be a good route runner for us with deceptive speed. He is the fastest damn player on our team
