FWIW, I interviewed years ago with this quirky company that ran a whole bunch of phone-based businesses, including meet-by-phone, Horoscope-by-phone, and lots of other strange things.
Anyway, one of their phone businesses was a "hook-up" service for guys.....and during the course of the interview, they told me that research had showed that approximately 80% of their clientele consisted of MARRIED men (meaning married to women)...which I found stunning.
Just an anecdote, but it does tend to support the 25-35% figure
