Why do you give a shite? If people want to discuss baseball here then let them.

Which gives it more airtime than college baseball.
No joke, there must be interest, people must watch it, just like people watch Tennis, Soccer, Pro Rodeo, Golf, and Bass fishing.
How do I know this? It is listed on my programming guide on the TV throughout the year, College Baseball? Not so much.

The overreactions on this board from the LSU/MSU baseball series was ridiculous
I can understand that for football, maybe even basketball, but baseball? Really?

B/c "the big 3" has nothing to do with college sports. The big 3 sports are the big 3 b/c they are the 3 biggest professional sports in the US. Where college athletes can go to make the most money....football, basketball, and baseball.
Very simple

What the frick else would be the 3? Nobody gives a shite about women's college basketball.

I can't understand it for basketball. it is a yankee sport that maybe 1/4 of the conference is good at.

Because it is whether you agree or not.
The 2013 College World Series drew a total of 341,483 fans, making this year’s championship event the most attended CWS in history.
The attendance of 27,127 fans for Tuesday’s championship game between UCLA and Mississippi State is the largest crowd for a CWS championship game final, and also marked the largest single-game crowd in TD Ameritrade Park history.
The 2013 Series drew an average crowd of 24,392 fans per game — 2,610 more than the 2012 series and 1,415 more than the 2011 average.

I'm not stopping anyone from discussing. In fact, I am discussing right now.

Never in my life have I met a women's college basketball fan. The women's final four is in New Orleans pretty often and they practically give tickets away.

2008 Fresno State
2009 LSU
2010 USC
2011 USC
2012 Arizona
2013 UCLA

Baseball is popular at LSU because it helped their football fans survive the 90's without killing themselves.

Most people have never seen a single inning of college baseball because it's a shite sport. This board probably accounts for 90% of the entire college baseball audience.

College baseball, with the old bats, had a shot at being #2, behind football. The CWS was the best post season college tourney. But because of "safety," which is funny because no one was ever injured, it's probably 5-6 in terms of college sports.
