The Texans have more playoff wins than the Cowboys since they came into the league...

Georgia not so bad. Atl has a diverse fan base because there are people from all over.

My city I am in though.....the worst.
1 year the whole town is all Alabama, the next all Auburn, the next all UGA.
It just rotates between which ever team is better that year.

Mississippi State bandwagon fans everywhere

Coming from an Ole Miss fan? The only bandwagon fans that OM has are hillbilly trash that wear OM hats because they think "rebel" is cool. You're more than welcome to claim them

I lived in Columbus from 95-2001 and that is where I learned to hate Georgian Auburn fans.

Mississippi's bandwagon fans are usually contained around the coast. North/Central Mississippi people generally have a team (Either OM or State usually) that they at least have some connection to or have been a fan of for life. On the coast though, you see: Bama, Auburn, LSU, Florida, etc. depending on who is better that year. I'm sure that if you were to drive around Biloxi and Gulfport right now, you would probably see a bunch of shiny new Bama flags on a bunch of houses, most of them still with fold creases.

I don't mind if the state you live in has an increase in "fans" of a instate/local team. It happens everywhere.

The worst part is I am about 2-3 hours from 5 SEC campuses so it's not surprising it is not all UGA here. There were definitely more Auburn fans when they won the NC, it wasn't a full on infestation. Then when Bama won half the city claimed to have been related to Bear Bryant and or Nick Saban.

Then they started popping up everywhere, and with alabama's new found success the past few years those big As are on everyones windshield.... After signing day last week i have heard more hotty toddy yells than i think i ever have! Its like the frickin twilight zone down here there are so many wagons to jump on.

Saints "fans" definitely shot up after the Superbowl. Bama fans went from about zero to scattered around. You aren't a fan if you don't follow them when they are down.

They are horrible in Alabama - I've seen little Aub kids running around my neighborhood dressed in burnt organge "Longhorn" t-shirts, purple LSU Tiger t-shirts, and they all looked like stupid little Leprechauns a few weeks ago.

There are a shite ton of Bama bandwagoners in Mississippi. Guys that dropped out of high school and work in factories put a giant script A that covers their back windshield.

In my experience, if I see someone wearing Ole Miss gear it's about a 50/50 shot that the person actually went to school there. A lot of rednecks really like Ole Miss gear because of the confederate flag. You can usually tell the bandwagoners from the actual alumni and students though.

Tell me about it Landshark... Here in Memphis all the locals are UM Tiger fans when it comes to basketball but their favorite football team is literally based on that week's AP top 25... It shouldnt piss me off so much but I rocked my OM gear when we beat a Tebow led Gator team in The Swamp and while we were going 2-10 season before last... Champ chasers have always been a pet peeve of mine.

Can you blame them? All they have is Tiger High basketball.
