People forget that this was a nation founded on Christian principles. Just because we have freedom of religion doesnt mean that I have to bow to all other religions and dont even start with the seperation of church and state to show your ignorance. Nonetheless, this is a sports board so for once in my life, I completely agree with something the Barn is doing.

I can see it becoming a problem for Auburn since Auburn's not a private school.

I heard today that Chizik and Trooper and Chet ask kids to come in the office hold hands at end of recruiting visits to pray with them. They bless the player and the university and pray that player makes right decision - maybe to hotbox them?? Some kids eat it up others think its manipulation. It just doesn't seem right to me.

This is just something that I heard...does anyone know if there is any truth to this? I'm sincerely curious!

If nobody could tell you were an ATPB poster before, they certainly can now.

So, would Auburn not recruit an atheist, or a non-Christian?

Part of the problem, as this has been perversed. But this is the wrong board for that discussion.

I have nothing against people who are religious, but y'all use it like a marketing scheme.

This. Affinity Fraud

I know many over the top "religious" financial advisers who are flat out dirtball crooks who hide behind the cross. Look into the Stanford Group.

It was a question, not an argument a-hole.

Just because I joined in December, doesn't mean that I'm an ATPB poster...I haven't ever even opened that thread. I'm not trying to say that it IS true - I was really just asking because a guy at work told me that and I wanted to know how much truth there was to it

Sorry, your registration date says you're an ATPB'er. You'll always be considered that too, so just get used to it

I know. I just don't like mixing religion and sports.
