You've grown by less than 1k in the past four years and you had a smaller enrollment this year than the previous, which is the first time y'all have gone backwards in almost a decade

Did you even read the part about how Ole Miss counts the students at the Med School in Jackson and how State sends more undergrads to school there than Ole Miss does?
Counting UMC we almost at 22k and no you dont

So there are a ton of future doctors that decide to do their undergrad at the state's premiere agricultural college before transferring to UMC.
Right...
Right...

Well that's what the actual fans (us) can control. We can't make our university be in a huge populated state. We can't make them raise their academic standards. We don't play the sports. What we do do, what every college student at every school does is tailgate, party, and attempt to look attractive, which we are the best at. Print'em

I think their side of the argument is more funny. If you want to accomplish your dreams and become successful in the medical field you have to go to the University of Mississippi Medical Center. No way you can do this with State alone

You guys are delusional. Kids go to State and on to UMC because The University of Mississippi has the medical school, Mississippi State has the vet school. Get over yourselves.. People go to State because they want to go to State for their undergrad, simple as that. In what world would it be feasible for MSU to have their own medical school? Get over yourselves..
Ya'll are so busy flaming that you neglect common sense.

More or less equal for now but in different ways.
Barring any major disruptions the future belongs to Mississippi State because Ole Miss just isn't going to catch up enrollment-wise. They're going to be third to Southern Miss for the foreseeable future (if you don't count UMC, which for school loyalty and fanbase purposes you shouldn't).
