Frost, Kiffin, and Strong being better recruiters than McElwain doesn't make UCF, FAU, or USF any more threatening to UF long-term.

UF still doesn't compete with any of those schools in recruiting and they'll pull from different places than UF. Maybe UCF will be relevant in twenty years. They're the "sleeping giant" in Florida.

Spurrier wasn't but Zook was on the staff and did a great job, plus there were other assistants who could recruit. When Spurrier got it going, UF was recruiting itself. The "Fun and Gun" was exciting football.
Spurrier had plenty of talent.
