Could not agree more. They beat LSU in a home game by more than two scores. Nothing special about that.

The committee is going to have to justify their actions in the discovery process for the AG. Anti-trust is serious business, and this isn't going to just "go away". It isn't just FSU fans that are upset about this, and honestly I'm all for it. The government was already looking to regulate NIL, and this investigation will only spur more change. You have to separate the media from college sports for any kind of "fair" process. I'm not sure that is possible.

F FSU and their big government power play. Guess what? They're not going to be in the CFP no how much they stomp, pout and litigate. They don't belong. And their antitrust gambit over a justifiable jilting (according to the committee's standards) is laughable. I feel bad for their players, including their injured QB, but not for the school, or the so-called "small government" governor, senator and AG, among others.

Literally played Arkansas right before Auburn just 2 years ago.

Arkansas actually finished ranked that year unlike LSU, but don’t let that stop you from lying

If that hadn't been the absolute pinnacle of their season/schedule, maybe they wouldn't have gotten bumped by two different 1-loss teams.

Most CFB fans are on FSU’s side here. It is the first time an undefeated P5 has been left out. It’s a big controversy outside of the SEC

Several pundits said that they couldn't justify putting in Alabama unless Texas was above them.

The committee can't run from this because if this was discussed, the ACC will have standing in terms of revenue injury.

And just when it appeared that Disney/ESPN had nothing left to screw up, they are smack in the middle of this situation.

I’m not sure what it is. That playoff committee is ridiculous. One thing I do know is that it’s sure not about the 4 best teams

Well it doesn’t have to be mutually exclusive. Bama is/was clearly better and they had a better resume in my opinion based off strength of schedule and quality wins. Bama was a Conference Champ, lost 1 game to another top tier team and had the best win by far as opposed to FSU, heck you can go two deep with the win vs Ole Miss as well.

People just see “undefeated” and throw analytics out the window, especially since it has the Bama hater element factored in as well. But Liberty went undefeated too…that nullifies that argument. Thank goodness the Playoff Committee dug deeper than “undefeated”.

And after Bama silences the Big Blue on Monday this is gonna be bump worthy again. The committee was right. Honestly it’s easily argued the dawgs should be in the playoffs too, but they didn’t have the conference championship, so they left them out of the argument. They are one of the 4 best though.

Roll Tide y’all. I don’t know why any SEC fan would support the cheating, arrogant, meritless Michigan team with a coach like Harbaugh over Bama.

That's great kirk. The issue is that the last 9 years who is "better" didn't matter compared to who deserved it most based on resume. Now in the last year of this format, "better" does matter and resume doesn't.

That's why people are annoyed.

ALABAMA is better and they more deserving than FSU

What everyone is mad about is it seems the criteria to enter the playoffs or play for the ship changes

……….. to seemingly benefit one team

FSU loosing Jordan Travis is about like hiring Hunter Biden and Joe kicking the bucket. Worthless as tits on a boar hog.

They had a chance today to prove to the world that they belonged. They talked big but when it came down to it their players opted out rather than face Georgia. Called it a business decision when we all knew they were chickenshit. This wasn’t the Gasparilla Bowl. It was the Orange Bowl.

They got beaten by sixty freaking points. 60. Worst bowl beating ever. Ever.

Why not argue for James Madison? But to continue to push the FSU agenda is comical.

Being undefeated doesn't mean shite when you play shite. FSU 55th SOS, Bama 5th. ACC is garbage.

FSU earned the right to be in the CFP. They beat everyone on their schedule, including the Heisman winner. Alabama did not. Texas did not. There is no logical reason for an undefeated team to be left out, except that is what the media wanted.

So did Liberty based on this logic.

And after the beating they got today, it shows what they deserved.
