And holy shite, do you realize who we're talking about? Sims.....the guy who was shite on for a month by everybody including Alabama fans
Thanks for making my point about Kiffins O. To say Sims would have better stats at Oregon is simply retarded. Speculation makes you 100% correct in your mind so might as well throw it out right?

Far as I can tell Bama and Oregon both ran up tempo offenses, although we were more multiple, so whatever numbers the two QB's put up are pretty indicative of how effective they were.

Melvin Gordon would probably be the most ecstatic to win the award. Mariota and Coop would be mildly pleased.

I would be fine with any of them winning it bc they are all a lot classier than recent winners.
Mariota had a bigger headstart in his campaign though and that's why I think he wins it.
ETA: No domination everytime for Coop and Gordon but close enough.

I don't see how you don't think Sims would have better stats at Oregon. He would have run for so many yards. Agree to disagree.

Amari's reaction would be:

He's not the best public speaker.
eta: He's pretty emotional. I can't blame him.

He wouldn't have passed up Mariota to play QB. Pretty simple really.

I wouldn't do any better on national TV just winning the biggest award of my life.

No, and did he make an error not shaking all the hands of each of the prior winners before speaking, or does that happen after the speech?

Love it when real people win these.

He's a really low key guy. Very humble.

I actually applauded this guy. Deserving and refreshing.

Ok put it this way. If Alabama ran the same offense as oregon, with the same mentality of dropping 70 in a game that's already in hand, Sims would have better numbers than he has now
