Alabama-Tennessee is as much of a rivalry at this point as LSU-Tulane.

Notice we re-started that series about 10 years ago, and stopped it four games into a 10-game contract because it wasn't profitable nor were the final scores close.

Take the hint and make this series rotational.

If Butch falls forward and pulls off the upset, do Tenn fans celebrate or mourn after he is given a 5 year contract extension after the game?

Perhaps LSU (and others) should join another conference if they don't like TSIO.

Saban says he considers Tennessee to be Alabama's biggest rival.

quote:

Nick Saban: "I think you get very quickly a feel for what your own players on your own team, even that were here before you came here, what's important to them. And it was very obvious to me that the Tennessee game was always the biggest game. It was always the biggest game for us. That's no disrespect to Auburn or the great Iron Bowl rivalries. But to our players and a lot of our fans, the Tennessee game, because of the tradition of the game, [is important], so it didn't take long to figure that out.

To most Bama fans Tennessee is THE rivalry and game that matters.

Again, the hilariousness of another fanbase explaining to us our feelings about our game is rich.

In case you didn't understand the first time, we don't care what you think.

LSU has so many times to Bama they are approaching Tennessee levels of irrelevance.

I asked a few Bama fans this weekend what Fulmer did and when, and they couldn't recall exactly,

Must have been talking with your middle school classmates
