Gump is screwed and will pay due to Burton accosting the Volunteer fraulein damsel & Saban's mis-handling of it. A Public
Relations unfixable nightmare virally exploding across the interwebs, network tv, radio.

The incident was BAD, but not as attrocious as Saban's attitude and mishandling of it. It will effect and speed Saban's "infamous" retirement & legacy.

Clemson doesn’t sell alcohol in their stadium. They have invited fans on the field after games since the 1940s.

It wasn’t a storming at LSU. I was on the field in the middle of it all. We just sauntered onto the field. LSU seemed fine with it, so more and more of us sauntered on.

Maybe Gen Z is just less castrated then Millennials. I have definitely noticed the student section started to get more rowdy again the way it used to be in 80's and 90's (in a good way) This started before our current success.

Word at the time was that he called the Nub a "cracker" and spit on him. Accordingly, entirely justified!

But Faurot is the Mizzou home field.

Since the sale of alcohol in the stadiums has begun we've seen more reckless behavior. Ut storming the field was understandable but lsu and clemson?? Had to been because of the alcohol sales right?

Fans don't care anymore! It is getting out of control not because of alcohol was allowed. How do you explain golf balls being thrown at Ole Miss players and Kiffin?

You clearly missed the irony. Let me break it down for you.

1. Mizzou was playing ND in SOUTH BEND (that would be an AWAY game)
2. We won the game 3-0 over ND the defending Nat'l Champs and at the time the #5 ranked team in the country.
3. It was a very intense and exciting game in that every time the cocky Irish got into the red zone they went for it on 4th down instead of settling for 3.
4. Mizzou students got so excited that they rushed down to the stadium, broke down the gates to Faurot Field (which you correctly point out is our HOME field) and rushed onto the field and tore down the goal posts
5. See this typically happens at a big win AT YOUR HOME FIELD, but very, very rarely (if ever) when the win occurs at an AWAY GAME.

I could go on, but I fear your lips are getting tired reading all of this.

3-0? On the edge of my seat

I get it and it's bad enough to storm home games but even more pathetic with this scenario.

You should only storm the field if you beat the #1 team or beat a team you haven’t beaten in 7 or more years.
However…..East Carolina has stormed NC State’s field twice.

Miami was out of timeouts and a celebration was getting underway.(ecu) Fans tore down both (ncstate)goal posts.after the Miami game.

Alcohol in the stadium has never been an issue at LSU. It has ALWAYS been there. I think it's just younger generation wants to say "I stormed the field". It really is too much.
